Nobody comes to the Golden Gate expecting luxury. My only expectation was clean with a comfortable bed. The bed was acceptable.

One of the staples of Fremont Street Experience, the quintessential restaurant with the famous Shrimp Cocktail at Golden Gate Hotel is gone. Canceled, erased, deleted, - gone with the wind. Too bad. That was one of the reasons I was coming to Fremont Street.
