Water is a centerpiece at Bellagio Resort & Casino. More than its iconic water show, there is the underwater story of "O" by Cirque du Soleil, fine dining restaurants, multiple pools, a luxury shopping center, and a casino space worthy of its Italian heritage.

My wife and I chose to return based on previous experiences and visits. It's a great hotel in a great location. Unfortunately our check in experience this trip left me a bit annoyed and frustrated. I am a Gold level MGM Resorts member and booked our reservation several months ago in one of the Stay Well, 2 queen beds rooms (non fountain view). Upon check-in I asked if any upgrade were available, non, was the reply, however the front desk gentleman did inform me that I would not be paying any Resort fees due to being a Gold member. Thanks, I already knew that. He explained that we would have a great view overlooking the pools though, really, that to me is not a great view, yes the mountains were in the distance if we turned our head 90° and looked between our building and others close by! I use a cane which was clearly visible to him as I walked up to the counter when beckoned but no offer of a room closer to the elevators was offered. Yes perhaps I should have asked, silly me. It was offered immediately as we checked in last time? I would gladly have paid for either a nicer view or a different room but again, nothing was offered, yes I did ask, sold out! Was it because we were staying 6 nights? I really don't know. The rest of our stay was great, wonderful room service, quick delivery and very nice food. Our 2 meals in the Mayfair Supper Club were great. Excellent seats, food and entertainment. Our waiter both times, Derek, couldn't have been nicer, great service is one reason for our second reservation. Wonderful food. I highly recommend the club. The beds are comfortable and the ac system worked well. The walk in shower in these renovated rooms is a bit strange, why, well the shower control is halfway down the wall and unless you have 5ft arms you have to test the temperature with an outstretched foot! A balancing exercise. Great pressure in our bathroom. The double sinks, built in nightlight is a nice touch in these Stay Well bathrooms. The security station at the elevator halway is nice but they are NOT consistent with room key checks before head to your bank of elevators. It was required in January, as was room key required inside the elevator before selecting your floor! Yes we will return and hopefully our check-in experience will be a nicer experience. The front desk is the key to forming decisions about returning to any hotel, front desk staff and managers need to remember that simple point.

We love to stay at the Bellagio, this is our go to spot when we visit Vegas. We’ve been planning a family trip to celebrate our granddaughter’s birthday for 4 months. I called to request rooms on the same floor which didn’t happen. We still appreciated the effort in getting upgraded rooms when we checked in. Unfortunately, one of the upgraded rooms was supposed to be “out of service” because the toilet didn’t flush. The hotel staff was quick to get the situation addressed and get our family members moved to a new room.

As usual the Bellagio delivered a clean, quiet room. The cleanliness of the casino was top notch. The table limits jumped a little too high in the evening but aside from that one of the top locations on the Strip.

This is our second time to stay at Bellagio and as before, we had an amazing stay. Everything from check in to check out was a fantastic experience. We like staying at different hotels to have different experiences but we may just stay at Bellagio moving forward.

I stayed at the Bellagio for 3 days, then went on a 3 day Canyon tour, and stayed again for another 4 days in late April/early May, both times in a newly renovated King room. Check-in both times was fast, efficient and very friendly. You get a mini bottle of Water if you want. The way to the room is long, through the Casino to the elevators and then down a long hallway. I was almost at the end both times. The rooms were very nice during both stays. They were a good size, clean, bright and the décor is very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The safe in the rooms is strange as it is built vertically into the wall and is very narrow. It might just fit a notebook, that might fall out every time you open the door, but not much else. I liked the big walk-in shower, but the shower heads could do with a major de-scaling or replacement as water came out in spurts. That was same in both rooms. On my fist stay, even though I was on the 11th floor, it was loud as the room faced a major road. There were also no hand towels in the bathroom on my arrival. They only came the next day. The room on my second stay missed the small coffee table by the couch but was quieter. My room was not cleaned once during my second stay. I did laundry which was done well. I also was able to keep my suitcase at the hotel during my 3 day canyon tour (with Max Tours, highly recommended) as they did not allow suitcases on the tour. The luggage was picked up at my room and was kept safe during my trip. The lobby with its ceiling decoration and conservatory with the flower displays are beautiful. The hotel is huge and ways around long. I did go see “O” which was amazing, the best Cirque du Soleil show I ever saw. I had breakfast twice at Sadelle’s which was very good, but like everything in Las Vegas, also very expensive. The resort fee you have to pay is really excessive at USD50/night. You don’t really get anything for it. But I think all hotels on the strip charge this fee. I liked the location of the hotel, it is conveniently located in the middle of the strip. I enjoyed my stay all in all.

Great location, awesome renovated rooms and the restaurants are great. The rooms are quiet when getting sleep. The downside? Starbucks is quite a ways away and several of the baristas weren’t friendly at all.

Very disappointed this time. The once stellar Bellagio has gone downhill. While our room was good, we had stained towels which was disgusting. There was overflowing trash near the elevators, food service carts left for hours in the hallway, and tables were dirty at the cafe. Perhaps they are having trouble getting staff, but their rates still reflect a hotel with top service. Not this time!

Bellagio hotel was terrific! We enjoyed the pool the most and spent the whole weekend on the hotel property, didn't leave to check out any other part of the strip because everything we needed/wanted was right at our fingertips at Bellagio. Looking forward to coming back!
