This is the fifth hotel I have stayed in, in Vegas, so,I feel I have a decent sense of what's available. The Bellagio gets a great rep due to its fantastic decor and the fountains out front. Our room was nice with little touches like the electric curtains and a separate shower and tub. The bed was a decent size... More

I arrived at the Bellagio during the 4th of July holiday weekend and there was a long line during check-in @ 11P on a Friday night. To the hotel's credit the manager distributed bottles of water to guests in line which was a nice touch. The Bellagio is an attraction in itself and there is a constant flow of visitors... More

We stayed there for 3 nights during our trip to Las Vegas. For the 5 diamond status, we felt it was over-rated. Quite surprised for the price , they did NOT offer breakfast, the desk-phones did not connect properly & the TV was constantly showing "Error" status. Also, no refrigerator for use; the one in the room was stashed with... More

This hotel has this under-water theme inside. The hotels on the strip in Las Vegas are very similar. You feel safe, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and casinos. The special thing about this hotel is the Italian style. Sailing gondols both inside the hotel and outside. In this hotel, there are plenty of shops to find. My best advice... More

Love the Bellagio, but the room was not quite as plush as I had expected, it was fine and the bathroom spectacular. It's all the things that are in the Bellagio that make it so wonderful. Tons of things to see and do.

This place is really amazing from the rooms with a breathtaking dancing fountains to the service and the casinos plus the shops all over the ground floor, best thing also that it's really close to everywhere you want to go, definitely recommend it to everyone even with kids they'll enjoy

Pros: centrally located on the strip, fountain attraction in front of hotel, nice rooms, elegant style, great restaurants, luxury shopping, Jean Philippe desserts, botanical garden, Cirque show "O", great views on waterfront restaurants Cons: crowded, long lines at buffet and check-in/check-out, pools are small and under some shade, can be expensive depending on room view

While there are new casinos built, I still prefer the Bellagio over the rest. The service is excellent; you do not need to wait for cocktails, and there are not long lines at the cashier. Staying at the Bellagio is always a safe bet for a good time.

For the price we expected a luxurious stay but it was very average. Room was basic and honestly the renovated rooms at MGM and Mandalay Bay were nicer. Check in was very long, they did pass around water bottles but by that time we were at the front of the line and I really needed to use the washroom already... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Inspired by the beautiful villages of Europe, AAA Five Diamond Bellagio overlooks a Mediterranean-blue lake in which fountains perform a magnificent ballet choreographed to music and lights. The lobby is, in a word, grand, both in scale and in design. Above the 18-foot ceiling is a coffer filled with the most extraordinary glass masterpiece, Fiori di Como, created by glass sculptor Dale Chihuly, whose work has been exhibited in every major museum in the world. At Bellagio, elegantly appointed accommodations pair modern conveniences with the warmth of home, featuring sweeping vistas of the resort's lake, surrounding mountains and Las Vegas skyline. Discerning guests who book a Penthouse suite are invited to indulge in the luxurious Chairman's Lounge which offers a private registration and concierge experience. Bellagio's restaurants run the gamut from gourmet Five Diamond to casual dining. Food lovers no longer have to go to Paris or New York for the best culinary experiences. Bellagio features a Michelin two star restaurant (Picasso), two Michelin one star restaurants (Le Cirque and MICHAEL MINA Bellagio), two AAA Five Diamond restaurants (Picasso and Le Cirque) and a James Beard award-winning restaurant (Picasso). Bellagio also is home to four James Beard award-winning chefs - Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Todd English, Michael Mina and Nevada's first James Beard award recipient, Julian Serrano. Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge led by Chef Akira Back features seasonal fish and ingredients flown in daily from the finest markets around the world. Bellagio is home to an impressive collection of luxury retailers including Hermes, Valentino, Guerlain and OMEGA as well as the resort's retail promenade, Via Bellagio, featuring Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Breguet, Prada, Harry Winston, Chanel, Dior, Fendi and Bottega Veneta. A world-class art gallery showcasing annual museum-caliber exhibitions, the exquisite beauty of the lush Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, Cirque du Soleil's stunning performance of "O," an intimate wedding chapel, luxurious spa and salon, dynamic nightlife of The Bank, Hyde Bellagio, Lily Bar & Lounge and an elegant casino add to the symphony that is Bellagio. ... more   less
