Detailed Reviews

My wife, adult son and I stayed four nights at the Alexis Park All Suite Resort for four nights over new year’s. We paid the equivalent of US$194 per night (including taxes), booking through Expedia two weeks in advance, for a “Crown 2 Story Suite with Loft King bed”.
We would have preferred to have stayed on (or closer to) the Strip, but we knew we were booking late and we wanted to all stay together, rather than getting a separate room for our son. We also searched apartment/condo rentals, but given our late booking and all the available options, the Alexis Park seemed to be the best choice, considering price, room amenities and proximity to the strip.
Check-in was quick and easy – maybe the fastest I’ve ever checked into a hotel. The room was large, but a number of its features were well past their “best before” dates. The hardware in the shower was literally falling off. I had to hold it in place when turning the water on or off. The bathroom door dragged across the floor to the point we had to put our shoulders into the door (to get it to open) or brace and pull when closing it. There were cracked tiles on the bathroom floor that rocked and made sounds when we stepped on the right (or wrong) spot.
The mini-kitchenette was a bit of a disappointment. It consisted of a tiny sink, a small microwave and a bar fridge that wasn’t properly seated in its housing, so it sat at an angle and rocked on unbalanced legs when it was opened or closed. There were no cups, cutlery, dishes, etc.
There was, of course, aircraft noise, but that was entirely expected given the hotel’s location.
The wi-fi was worse than I expected, based on my travel experience. It would randomly drop out on me a couple times each morning and evening. We streamed one program on a brand new laptop. The program was about 40 minutes and with all the buffering, it took 67 minutes to play (meaning we were watching a rotating “buffering circle” for 27 minutes). I measured the wifi speed using Fast dot com and it came in at 3.0 Mbps.
The location is okay. It is about nine tenths of a mile from the Las Vegas Strip, excluding the distance traveled from our building/room to the street (E. Harmon Ave.). We generally walked one way, then took an Uber the other way, which was ridiculously cheap.
On our third morning, we awoke to find a banana (which we had bought and left on the counter the night before) had been significantly eaten into by something in the middle of the night. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and they immediately referred it to a manager who immediately indicated she would move us into a different room if we wanted (we did) and also compensated us for one room night’s charge. I appreciated the immediate attention, solution and the monetary compensation, which showed they took out satisfaction seriously.
I was initially inclined to rate this property as below average (i.e., 2 out of 5 points). But given that they quickly dealt with the “banana issue”, I think a 3 out of 5 is fair.

Alexis Park is probably ideal for families with kids — there are three pools spread out between the buildings. The gift shop has kid-friendly foods when it is open, and you can see planes take off from McCarran. The room was clean and the AC worked great. My stay was OK.
However, there is a real lack of attention to detail. The Wifi signal was AWFUL. I could sit on one specific part of the couch and read for 5 minutes before I’d have to move to another part of the room to catch the signal again. My friends who stayed in different rooms and buildings confirmed that they had the same problem. This wasn’t solvable just by paying more for a faster speed.
The ice machines are located at the pools. The two furthest pools had ice machines INSIDE the pool area, so when the pools close, so does the ice access. If you want ice, you must hike through the hot sun and heat to the first pool.
They no longer have the airport shuttle. Alexis Park is a long, hot walk from the strip and attractions.
So if you have a car and kids who don’t need streaming services, this is a good place to stay.

Long time fan of this hotel because it’s quiet, but the place is dirty and dilapidated compared with previous visits. We checked into a two bedroom suite and found one washcloth among the three bathrooms. Empty water bottle and other detritus under my bed. A maid came in one day and made the beds but never emptied the trash bins, which were tiny and overflowing from the first day forward. At no point were shampoos, coffee pods, towels and wet bath mats replaced. In fact, I don’t believe there was any maid service at all after the first day. Building needs some updating. The upstairs heat did not work correctly, and the fridge froze everything solid. The TV was impossible to figure out. Two identical remotes, one to turn it on and another to change the volume. Seriously.
Add to this the constant bullhorn and music blasting from a picket line across the street (not the hotel’s fault) and this was a seriously overpriced and disappointing stay.

Do not ever stay here. This is not a resort. It is a run down hotel with the smell of marijuana permeating the entire property. We were charged the "resort fee" even though it was 45 degrees outside for New Year's Eve weekend and all the amenities were closed for the season. The staff is required to misrepresent to the guests what the hotel actually offers. In addition, this is the first "resort" that does not offer complimentary coffee or water. They price gouge for everything. No little soaps or shampoos in the rooms & everything has a charge associated with it. The restaurant is a steak restaurant with heavy meat and fish dishes that is way overpriced. Nothing even slightly healthy. Both the dinner and the breakfast menu are old style menus from the 1940's - meat, iceberg lettuce & other horrible choices that I think cater to a generation long gone. We were told that breakfast was included with the room but it was not. The staff is professional but it seems like they are relaying an attitude extreme greed coming from the corporate ownership. We were told when I made the reservation that the pet fee of $113 was included in the quoted price but it was added on to the total and is charge each day. We were charged $319 plus $113 for Sunday night and $209 plus $113 for Saturday night. I have never heard of a pet cleaning fee that high and to charge it daily is outrageous! - They charged us a total of $754 for the weekend in a dive motel!

What was originally a great weekend celebrating my husband's birthday with my family in Vegas, has now turned into a nightmare going back in forth with the hotel staff because we are being falsely accused of damage in our room.
While the rooms themselves were very nice and spacious, the unprofessionalism of the management at the hotel is offsetting.
Even after we had provided proof of pictures and video of the state of the room when we checked out, they insist that they will not reimburse the $380 fee and to just dispute it with our bank.
It is unfair to accuse your guest of this even after they have proven otherwise. Please review the policies and security in your hotel to avoid this type of misunderstandings and to avoid accusing your guests of something they have not done and are not at fault for.
I hope we can come to an understanding and that no other guests have to go through this issue.

Carlos had said that the room was clean but waiting on housekeeping to inspect to confirm that it is ready to be occupied.
Upon my return, (4 hours after) 3.30pm, Ana who assisted me at the front desk said that housekeeping still has not yet changed the room status on the computer to “inspected”, therefore I must wait because check in time is not until 4pm. She will call housekeeping at 4 o’clock to check on the status of the room. Even though there are other guests whom they are checking in at that moment. She was very rude about it. She said that I am assigned to a specific room and she can’t change it.
Even after I explained to her that I have a meeting to go to at 4 o’clock.

I have stayed in the past but this was not as good . I don’t mind paying for a excellence experience but it isn’t what we received . The reception staff Was very friendly as they checked us in . The lobby is being remolded so they are working from a trailer quickly and efficiently Had I known there was construction going on I would have stayed somewhere else. Second issue was housekeeping didn’t clean our room . I had to call to ask for more toilet paper and then had to stop as we were going out for the day to ask that housekeeping bring us fresh towels and throw out our trash . Now housekeeping did clean my room our last night but I felt it was just to inspect my room . The hotel charges you a $75 a day charge which is refundable if you break anything. We didn’t break anything so it didn’t affect me but I don’t feel the need to be charged per day .I also don’t understand why there is just one nightstand in the room there should be a nightstand on both sides of the bed. And there were 2 different size pillows which were too small for the bed . That’s all the bad not the good parts room was roomy and clean and quiet which was good for sleeping. Except the morning we were checking out working thought it was ok at 0730 to run a motor outside my door pictures included.

Nice hotel, located about 1 mile from the strip.
Trying to do laundry, I first got charged 5USD for detergent, only to find out that an app is required that only works with US phone numbers. Staff is unhelpful, has no solution and is blaming an external company running the machines (instead of having it fixed or letting the patrons use one of their phone numbers). Solving that with a US friends phone number, only to find out that the app takes a 10USD minimum charge.
—> That is a rip-off and the exact opposite of customer centric

Considering that this is a non gambling hotel and doesn't bill itself as a world class resort or anything, it was overall a great experience.
Staff was responsive and polite, breakfast was surprisingly good, never had a bad breakfast.
The rooms are great but since it's so conveniently near the airport I would recommend bringing ear plugs if you're a light sleeper as you may hear planes throughout the evening.
All in all, will absolutely keep on my list of safe and financially reasonable choices for a Vegas getaway in the future.

Hello,
Alexis Park is not a timeshare property. We are a full service hotel/resort.
Please visit our website
We paid 15.87 in September per day. We don't like paying this resort fees in Las Vegas but all of the Hotels charge it. Alexis Parks is among the lowest. Normally is about 35.
We used Uber to go to the strip and back.
Call the hotel to confirm. 18 would be a legal minimum anywhere. But 21 is a common requirement due to the presence of alcohol and gambling.
Give us a call at 702-796-3300 and we will be more than happy to assist you.
