First of all they advertise Free Parking”…the free parking is in a 7 level public lot for the shopping mall. Once a spot is found you must walk 1/2 mile to the Casino/Hotel with your luggage….never again! I booked a fountain view room to see the beautiful fountain show and the room was more expensive but all I could see was a corner of the water, none of the show. The front desk insisted I had a fountain view…never again! Lastly there was no maid service that came in to empty garbage, make beds and collect towels, when we called they came to door with towels or toilet paper. I have never seen such sad service and after charging a 40+ resort fee? Just wanted to warn people, I would stay somewhere else!!!!! See pic of room view, no fountain

This was my first time staying at PH, my 6th trip to LV. Let me start by saying that I have already booked another trip and am staying here again. Check in was fast (I have VIP status so I talked to a actual person). I did see lots of people using kiosks to check in and most seemed to be getting along without trouble. I was given 2 rooms on the same floor. I believe they are called the Ultra Hip (king) room. It was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was great. I love that it had a separate water closet from the tub and separate shower. It had a single sink but a very large counter area. I had no issue with the elevators, I never had to wait. They have separate ones for the north and south tower as well as floors. I used the pool on one day. It was very nice, music was on but not too obtrusive. It was a Monday so I am sure weekends may be different. I rented a day bed in the adults only pool. It was very comfy and right next to the pool and had a safe. At PH, the only seating right near the pool must be purchased. The free seating is in the center section between the pools. It seemed that free loungers were available the entire time I was at the pool (930am-4pm). The location, casino gaming floor, and size and room layout are why I am returning. Walking distance to all of the best strip locations. I loved the casino. It has dark lighting and music on and it just seemed fun. The cocktail service was very good. As I stated before, I really like the room size and layout. Being this was my daughters first trip to LV, she had nothing to compare it too but had nothing negative to say about PH. Every member of the staff, from front desk, bell, gaming floor, and restaurant were very nice and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about PH and would highly recommend it to anyone looing to stay on the strip.

Positives and negatives. Overall for the low rate it was ok. They had to close the pool down due to a “biohazard” on my first day. No fault of the hotel, this is standard protocol so I didn’t mind. I was very concerned when I requested additional blankets for my friend who was not feeling well…3 times…before I was able to get them to my room. I had to speak to someone in person than twice on the phone, definitely not 4 star service. In addition I did request my room to be cleaned to no avail. It’s a meh choice in the strip. I never mind if the amenities are not 100% but if customer service is iffy, I’m concerned. And it was iffy…

This was a tough one. North Elevators didn't work (we were on 12th floor) so we had to go up/down that many times over the weekend. Our bathtub backed up with some nasty black sludge, maintenance never came to our room to fix it. Our shower would not drain, so we had 3-4 inches of standing water while showering. And the hallways were littered with chicken bones, McDonald garbage and other trash from when we got there on Friday till when we left Monday morning. Tried to contact management or anyone at the hotel and......nothing, not 1 response back. Just bad all round.

I have been to vegas many times so this time I thought I would stay at PH. The check in was in my opinion was a mess. The “express “ check in was not express at all!! I waited in line for over 30 minutes well after check in time and when I went up to the kiosk it said my room wasn’t ready. Needless to say I was annoyed because I traveled all day and wanted to just rest. I finally found an actual human who I wanted to ask about how long it would take for a room. I was a little cranky since it was record breaking heat, and he was nice enough to find me a room right away. Room was very clean and nice. The only problem was the smoke. I asked for a non smoking room, which it was, but the minute I walked in the hallway and room smelled like cigarettes and weed. Every morning I would wake up to the smell of weed which isn’t the greatest first thing in the morning. Vegas was back, full of people. Casinos were super busy but disappointed at the lack of variety of slot machines. They seemed to be all the Buffalo ones which seemed to be that way in many casinos. One recommendation is Cafe Hollywood, Paul and Taffy who work the bar are super nice and friendly! Plus the food was pretty good. I am very disappointed at this insane resort fees. U get charged $44 a day, and get crap outta the deal. You can have Wifi access but it wasn’t great. And it sure doesn’t go to cleaning ur room daily, since there are no housekeepers. Seems to me like a giant rip off and really adds up the price of ur trip for nothing. Not sure I will stay there again but it was an ok experience.
