We have stayed at the D (formerly Holiday Inn/Fitzgeralds) for at least 10 years. The D renovation is wonderful- retro gaming, Longbar, dancing girls, and very modern accommodations. The mattresses are terrific (and my husband and I like different types) and we are both happy! Bedding is also very chic - all white and fluffy. We like the cafe for... More

I like The D, but there are several things that can be approved upon. The first time we stayed there we were on the 17th floor. Fremont Street was VERY loud till early morning hours. The second time we stayed, I asked for a higher floor and a corner room that comes with a refrigerator. When we arrived, the room... More

Perfect location! We were expecting the hotel to not be updated due to the price but we were wrong! Loved the decor! Didn't have any elevator issues. It wasn't as noisy as others wrote. We had our 2 year old daughter and she slept perfectly fine. Definitely staying there again. Also the casino had a lot options for us to... More

Extended my trip this summer, and it would have cost me more than twice what it cost me to stay at the D for the 10 nights. Paid $10 a night to upgrade to a Premium Corner King room, which had it's own refrigerator (small but plenty of room for drinks/snacks), and was on the 32nd floor. Still got some... More

Stayed first week of August'16, & check in was a breeze. I read somewhere that MGM Resorts owned & renovated this hotel. Interior looked sleek enough with the red & black color scheme. Hallways were well lit. Amenities were decent & functional. Parking was adequate & was connected to the main building thru a bridge. More than their fair share... More

We only stayed here one night before heading on a road trip to Utah and Arizona. We had a great stay; the room was clean and pretty. It's a nice option if you want to stay in downtown. I'd recommend it again for sure.

If you are one that sleeps early, this is not the place to stay. Because the prime location in Old Downtown Las Vegas, it gets really loud at night with music and people partying. If you love to stay up late, and get some shut eye early in the morning, this is the best place to stay. The rooms are... More

The D was very cheap, it was clean, friendly personnel, free parking - just park your car and when you check out you keep one of the keys to the hotel to get out of the garage and get rid of it later. A bit noisy AC but what do you expect for 25$ ? :) Freemont street was really... More

Very clean updated hotel right on Fremont Street Experience. Excellent walking distance to local bars and eateries both on and off Fremont Street. We found it quiet even though other reviewers mentioned that you can hear the noise from Fremont Street Experience. We went with 1 other couple that stayed on floor 10 and we were on floor 15.
