Not only will I come back to this particular Hotel I do every single time in Las Vegas. Everyone from the front desk to all staff that you meet are extremely friendly and attentive. As much as I love this property it was an honor...More
We'd stay here again. The one hesitation I have is that as non-smokers we found the gambling areas (as in other casinos) a difficult place to stay for too long. This is our first-time here and normally we prefer to stay on the strip but...More
Great stay for a hotel off the beaten track of the busy Las Vegas strip. Rooms could use a bit of refurbishing but all in all a great place to hang your hat while in Vegas. We stay here 1-2 times a year and always...More
My girlfriend and I stay

Archie is correct, depending on your idea of a block. It's quite a walk to anything around there. My suggestion is to rent a car if you want to move around the city. I always do, mainly because I like to come and go as I please. Also, I don't know the neighborhoods that well off the strip, so I feel safer in a car than walking anywhere, especially on Boulder Highway. On another note, Sam's Town has food 24/7 if you're hungry. They have some good places to eat. I suggest looking at Google Maps and seeing what you might be interested in checking out.
