Very dark, poor lighting, purple chair in corner was so dirty we turned it around. The shower desperately needed a good scrub….moldy. We had to ask for a hair dryer 3x, 3rd one finely worked. We were there from Wednesday-Tuesday and room was cleaned one time. Pay the extra and stay at Caesar’s Place.

I was very excited to finally get to stay at the Cromwell, however my experience wasn’t that great. Compared to other hotels that cost the same on the weekend per night this hotel is way overpriced. All the furniture in my room had scratches and nicks, the top of my closet was covered in dust, I found burnt up matches on my bathroom floor, and the beautiful shower floor was crusty and dirty in the grout. The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable as so were the pillows. Even the elevators are worn down, I just expected more from a boutique hotel that cost so much! I paid $800 with all the fees for 2 nights. I could of stayed at the Wynn and have a much better experience. The cool things that I liked was the decor all though it was beaten and worn down. I like the fact that it is in a great location. I enjoyed Giadas restaurant for breakfast that was really good. The staff was good too except one of the craps dealers, I didn’t not like because he lowered my big bets when I wanted to put $25 on each high low numbers and he said I should do no more than $5 so he changed my bets without my approval and I was very upset. That was not cool. The 2 Chainz concert at Drais was very cool with great sound and amazing views. Highly recommend to see a show there.

I have stayed at the Cromwell several times, I have never been through such a horrible experience. The room floors were extremely dirty, I asked to be changed to a different room, I was given another room with smaller beds and was told that we will get our original room after it was cleaned, while in the second room we were given a couple came in while my husband and I were in bed, the front desk gave the couple the same room that we were in, a little while after that, five security guards came knocking on our door, they asked why we are occupying two rooms.. I felt violated and was in shock. I went to speak to the manager and asked why this happened and if we can have a room with the bigger bed which we had payed for and he rudely told me that our original room was not dirty to his standards so I went to the room and videotape myself cleaning the bathroom floor.. The hallway was always full of loud people, it was hard to sleep, I told the manager that I didn’t want to stay there anymore but he refused to refund me the money.. The pool was not available to use because it was rented out for a private event and the next day there was a charge of $40 to use the pool, they said we can use the pool at Cesar’s Palace but who want to walk that far for a pool.. We finally checked out and was over charged, I was given a receipt of over $350 but was charged $509… My husbands birthday was ruined by this horrible experience.

I usually stay at Cesars and thought that this would be a nice place to stay. Upon our arrival and check in the front desk forgot to activate our room keys so we had to go down twice to get it fixed. The TV did not work, you can't order room service and there was no toilet paper in the room. There was no basic toiletries. I asked the same night if someone could bring them up, they said someone would come but never did. Next morning I woke up called again for toilet paper, soap and shampoo. They said they would send someone up. I ended up using some napkins that I had in my purse. They did have someone bring up soap so I could shower but NO toilet paper. I left for about 8 hours and when I came back NO ONE had come to the room. The bed was not made, wet towels were left on the floor and still NO toilet paper!!! I was asking for just the basics and when being charged $300 a night I should expect to get the basics. I called downstairs again and went down to the desk and again they said someone will be up. Finally someone brought up a role of toilet paper. I left again for dinner and when I came back to the room there was a white TRASH BAG hanging on the door with towels. Who does this. Please do not stay here the service is bad and they do not care. No one has reached out the me to resolve the issue. Also If you do not have the staff the handle the work then do not open up.

The Cromwell was a gem on the strip for many years, offering 100x odds on low limit craps, the lowest limit single zero roulette wheel, 3:2 blackjack and generous drink pours. They did away with all this, craps are now standard 3,4,5x, the single zero roulette wheel is gone, replaced by a bank of genetic slots, and blackjack is 6:5. Absolutely no reason to gamble or stay here anymore, such a shame.
