Stayed here for a few nights for work. The team wanted some place away from the craziness of strip. The good: -concierge was great: I called to request a bottle of distilled water for my Neti pot (long flight/sinus issues) and it was waiting for me when I arrived. -rooms were quiet: my room was above the pool and I didn’t hear any noise -off the strip: the group wanted to be off the strip and indeed, this resort was not on the strip Could be improved: -room was clean-ish: when I arrived, I noticed that it hadn’t been thoroughly vacuumed (lots of crumbs on the floor). -off the strip: I prefer to stay on the strip for ease and convenience.

As a couple, we met a longtime friend at the casino where we gambled, had dinner and played bingo. We had a great time. The casino is located in the suburbs and looks impressive from the highway. The parking is free and the lots are landscaped beautifully with palm trees. Fountains greet you and well respected restaurants are accessible from inside and outside. Once inside, you recognize casino styling of the 1990's. The walkways are spacious and the ceilings are high. The lighting is warm. The vibe is calm. The building is well maintained. We started at the sports book. The massive wall is covered with bright screens featuring the games. There is plenty of comfortable seating and quick turnaround of bets. The table games were typical. The dealers were pleasant. The blackjack payouts were 3-2 and 6-5 depending on the flavor of the game. The environment was cordial. Dinner at Osteria Fiorella was nice. The service was excellent. The crab pasta special was disappointing (very little crab) but the lasagna was tasty. Maybe we shouldn't order crab in the middle of the desert! One of us played bingo at the huge bingo hall. The games are electronic and after some initial confusion on what package to buy, it was super easy to play. The package we bought included 2 drinks, which must be purchased before the hour long session begins. There is a food court and one of us had the munchies and got a good slice of pizza while the other played bingo. The poker room was hopping. Cash games appeared to be populated by locals. Remember- if you can't figure out who the fish is, you're probably the fish. I would compare this room favorably to many on the strip. We have been coming to Las Vegas for 15 years and this was our first visit to Red Rock. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel was recently refurbished and is very clean and stylish. Check in went well, free valet parking. Our room was large and very well appointed. Enjoyed the pool area and the bars. Some nice restaurants but the buffet has been closed.

Overall the resort is beautiful and all the service people we interacted with were top notch. Nice room and comfy bed. That being said we had many issues with the resorts policies. We are locals and were seeing a comedians show there so we decided to make it a stay-cation for one night. We stayed there many years ago and never ran into the issues we did this time. First, I have never gone to a hotel where the registration is not marked. We went to the area we had registered at years before and it was labeled "valet only". We were told we could not leave the car there to go in and register. Instead he said we could park in the garage around the corner if we did not want to do valet. We did that then realized we were too far from the registration area to haul our luggage. So we drove back, did valet and paid for a bellhop. Check in was 3 pm. We were told at check in that the pool closes at 4. Never heard of a pool closing that early. We wanted to do an evening jaccuzi but that was now out of the question. We got to our room, grabbed our books and proceeded to the pool area. It was 3:15 and the elevator would not drop us off at the pool level. It said the pool was closed tho we could see people out there. Front desk told us we had to walk a different way to access the pool. We sat down to read our books and exactly at 4 pm we were told we had to leave. Mind you there is no other outdoor areas to just chill. Big disappointment as the weather was beautiful. As mentioned before, no mini refrigerator for your use or coffee maker. At check out I mentioned that I thought the $50 resort fee was too much considering that the pools close at 4pm. She told me that the pools are not included in the resort fee....but rattled off other things that are, like free wifi, We paid almost $500/night and the resort fell very short of our expectations.

Bedroom was nice and cozy. But I will never stay here again. We came for a long weekend and brought our 15 month old along. She LOVES pools, so we picked this place because it had a lot of pool options, including one with a slope so she can walk in herself. Well we get there and the pools are closed our whole stay. On our last day, one small pool and one hot tub are open - for ALL the guests to share on a 75° day. And it closed two hours early. No warning. What’s the point of paying a resort fee if my kid can’t use the resort?? Horrible false advertising. Ruined what should have been such a fun family memory of sunshine and splashing all day in the pool.

Dealbreaker: non-existent WiFi. Their systems are so old that if someone on your floor hogs all the WiFi, you can't open Google.com in your browser. Speed tests show 100 Kbps. When you call their IT team, they say they don't think it is a problem. Because your device has been able to connect to the WiFi network. It is not their problem what speed is delivered. Even at 1:20am in the morning on a Wednesday, when it's definitely not peak network, the max speed is 1.1Mbps. Front desk and management can't do anything either, because they've outsourced to the IT team (who are not based in the hotel). All they can do is comp the "premium" WiFi package. But it doesn't solve anything, because if the network can only give 110Kbps it will give the same on the premium package. So if you have any expectations to use the WiFi while at the resort or in your room, forget about staying at Red Rock. I've stayed in many, many hotels worldwide and this is even worse than some 2 star hotels in the middle of nowhere. Both for the Internet infrastructure, and the fact that hotel IT thinks this is normal and can't be escalated/raised as an issue.

Hotel grounds are beautiful. Inside is nice and offers a casino floor, regal cinema and bowling alley. Decent food court and several other restaurants. Hotel room lacks coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. I booked through a 3rd party so they added a 100$ nightly “security deposit” along w/the 400$ (50/night) resort fee to my credit card. The mini bar has a 15 second window so if you travel with small children be prepared to pay up. Beds are comfortable, soaking tub is amazing and room attendants are very nice and thorough. It would make more sense to give every room a coffee maker mini fridge and microwave, take away the mini bars and leave those items as room service. We would not return solely for this being an inconvenience to us. 15$ a night to add them is ridiculous.

We were at the Red Rock for a wedding and it did not disappoint! Super friendly staff at every turn. From the front desk to the waiters and waitresses, housekeeping staff, and bartenders - all seemed to be incredibly happy to be working here and eager to please. The rooms are big and nicely appointed. Only thing missing is a coffee maker, which would have been nice and is usually a staple in any hotel room. The pool area is gorgeous and well maintained. The food in the restaurants is top notch and affordable. We loved the Lucky Penny for breakfast. We had a wonderful dinner with friends at T Bones. We watched an 80’s band in the Rocks bar on Friday. So much fun and it was free! It was so nice to be in Vegas without all of the noise and craziness of the strip. I highly recommend this resort!
