My husband and I stayed at this hotel while in town for a journalism conference. The hotel itself is decent, however the prices of things in the restaurants are insane! The Dunkin Donuts charges 3.50 for one doughnut and $6 or more for basic coffee. The Hash House is more hype and popularity than substance. The chicken is just ok but not great. Mine was super greasy with no flavor. The promenade outside the hotel is nice and it’s a great spot to watch people zip line above your head or ride the slow moving Ferris wheel 🎡 for spectacular city views. Many restaurants are also in the corridor including In N Out burger-delicious cheap eats. Gordon Ramsay fish and chips restaurant. Way overpriced and the fish was terrible! 2 fish and chicken with fry meals came to over $50 dollars. I was so disappointed by how terrible the food was. I really wanted to love it but couldn’t. The food was cooked too fast leaving a soggy instead of crispy crust. The crust was mushy and super bready so I peeled it off and ate the protein. This hotel has an adults only pool area which was great. You must be 21+ There’s a bar and a DJ along with two pools. It was a fun time. However you have to buy a cabana or other seating which is expensive. The rooms are decent. Clean lines, desk space sucked. Being a journalist it would’ve been nice to have more space for writing. Housekeeping was decent but the housekeepers all cleaned differently. Some better than others. The hotel is across from Caesar’s Palace, in between the Flamingo and Harrah’s. Great location. Not a winning casino. Hardly any bonuses on any machine. The games are very tight.…
This trip was awful! Customer service was absolutely terrible. The staff lacks empathy or the willingness to accommodate customers. My canceled connection while traveling resulted in my family being forced to spend 15 hours over night roomless even though I had checked in online and tried to call automated service and the front desk to explain the situation. The hotel looked like it hadn’t been maintained at all in the past year. When I was able to arrive and got the room keys the rooms were not up to standard. The body wash and shampoo containers were ripped off the wall. The remotes didn’t work. The supplies were lacking. I will most likely never recommend this property, which I used to love!
rooms are old and smelly. very ghetto. The place is overpriced and they even charged for parking. I will never come to this place again. I have seen a lot of fighting going on. A lot of fighting going on in the play so to me this place is unsafe to stay at.
I never write reviews, but always read them! This review is a must in my book! We stayed at the Linq 3 years ago and loved every second of it. However, our stay this last week was disappointing. The place is going downhill quickly. The hotel room was ok. The floors were gross looking, the shower was a tad dirty, and the closet space was dusty. The shower had hand soap instead of body wash so we had to buy our own. The flooring throughout the building was rundown. Flooring in the elevators was torn up, carpet filthy, and sticky walkways throughout. The pool was so nasty. The water was very cloudy, and the pool area smelt like it was next to the city dump. Considering it is a newer hotel, we are frequent visitors of the city (many other hotels), and we visited many other, MUCH older hotels during this stay and they looked immaculate compared to the Linq, it was quite disappointing. …
Great location, nice king suite for couple, excellent housekeeping service, looks like the suite was just recently renovated with nice furnishings and decorations. Beautiful sunset from our living room and bedroom. It’s fun to watch tourists walking down Las Vegas strip at night from our suite.
I called the Linq hotel to let them know that my flight got cancelled, and I got rebooked on a new flight at 4AM. This meant I wouldn’t be able to check in the first night of the stay, and would instead try to check into my room in the morning. Instead of trying to accommodate this unfortunate event, they cancelled my room with no refund since I couldn’t check in on the right night for the whole weekend!!! So now I had to sleep in the airport and not have a hotel to go to when I land. At least give me my money back…
Bad experience since day one first room smell horrible, was dirty with left over food, asked to get changed from rooms a manager was suppose to go to the room waited over 30 minutes and I ended up going downs stair and explained what happened and he gave me and attitude but changed me rooms in that room we found cockroaches requested to get change and they did not want to.
i stayed at the linq, and the room i check into had a literal pee puddle on the the dresser. went to complain and they moved us rooms and gave us free earlt check in but when went back to pack our things, they send room service up to just spray around with febreze?
Location is decent, over crowded, casino is subpar, and they charge $20 a day so you can have a fridge in your room. They literally take the fridge out so they can up charge you… elevator was broken, casino smelled like water because of the flooding, hotel smelled like weed, no soap on the shower, overall very disappointed.
Had a relative visiting and decided to go to LV for a couple of nights. I’m long over the Strip, but for someone who has never been it’s basically required. Decided on Linq based on location and price—despite reviews. The short story: It’s fine. Details: There is no front desk. Check in/out is only with a self-serve machine. But there are staffers available to help, and help they did when the machine got stuck. The room was a broom closet with no fridge or coffeemaker. That said, the beds were comfortable, a/c was cool, there was ample hot water and pressure, it was clean, and it was quiet. You’re (hopefully) not going to LV to sit in a hotel room, so this ticked the boxes. The self-park elevator was three steps across from the room elevators, eliminating massive walks like at many other properties. It’s a little tricky to find the garage entrance, so check Google Street View before going. It’s a short walk north to the Venetian or south to Planet Hollywood. There’s a monorail station directly connected to Linq which we used once. On the morning of checkout the smoke detector began chirping at 6a. By 9a we gave up trying to sleep and called maintenance, which promptly changed the battery. Mentioned this at checkout and got the parking comped, which was fair. Overall, good at the right price, depending on what you’re looking for.…
