We were bringing my 15-year old daughter and her friend to Vegas to explore the strip, swim and see shows. We wanted a place on the strip that was family friendly and had a suite, which I thought was hard to find without spending a fortune. Elara was perfect for us. The room had a great view, space for everyone and a full kitchen. The pool area was nice and with it being attached to the mall, we found some quick and easy meals and stores to grab drinks and snacks.

The Elara was an excellent choice for our family vacation to Vegas. It was close to the strip… the mall was a great access point to the strip. Beautiful views, pool was amazing, gym was well equipped with all your exercise needs, and the staff were fabulous!

My husband and I used to visit Vegas every 4-6 months pre Covid and this was our FAVORITE place to stay on strip. It’s been nearly 4 years since we were here last and my my my it’s getting bad. The location of the resort and convenience of a kitchen in the room I would still give a 3.5-4 but the experience deserves a 2. The Good: Located in Miracle Mile Shops it is a short convenient walk to food and PH. The one bedroom is spacious and having a full kitchen including a fridge with a water dispenser is a plus. I called for a broken cabinet and maintenance came in under 5 min. The Bad: We were there 4 nights and we’re not even offered for our room to be made up once. On Day 3 we requested for our room to be made up and were told the most they could do is to take out the trash and give us more towels because they can’t do same day service. And even with that, only the kitchen trash was taken out, not the bathroom. For Day 4, we requested our room to be made up early in the morning again and not only did no one come but no one even communicated with us. I understand the “going green” concept or whatever policy may be in place, but at least one phone call during our stay to check on us or “schedule” a cleaning like other resorts on the strip would have sufficed . We’re not messy people and try to pick up after ourselves but we do have a toddler and spills happen. I requested at least the kitchen floor to at least be cleaned if the whole room couldn’t, because of drink spills it got sticky but all we got was a towel refill. So here I am night 3, of our vacation cleaning the place like i live here. Don’t get me wrong, I am appreciative of fulfilling our towel & high chair requests but I think management need to take a better look at “policies” and improving customer service and experience. Also, Since 2021 parking is no longer free, $30 valet and $18-23 self park. I think a majority of hotels are now charging but with no free parking and no housekeeping what exactly are the resort fees for? We were excited to have a washer/dryer combo but drying takes like 6 hours per load. There’s not even a line to hang clothes. Not worth the time. Room had a wow factor when we stayed here a few years ago but its age is starting to show. The couch is falling apart, part of the reason we requested all new linens and towels is because we kept discovering stains on the ones we were initially provided. That’s gross. The Ugly: I know timeshare folk can be snakey but HGV timeshare bandits take the cake. We’ve been to a few. Even though we are not necessarily in the market for purchasing a timeshare, we would be open to it if we found one we liked something. That’s why we agree to attend some of these presentations even if we don’t get anything in return. We were contacted 3 times but 3 different people within an hour of checking in -!: offered a $200 visa gift card for attending a presentation. Sure, why not? $200 is fine and We (previously) liked Elara and other Hilton resorts and genuinely interested in learning more, so it was hitting 2 birds with one stone. However, we HATE to be hounded because of our salary and rather make our decision on our own so on the day/ time we met, lied and said we were students and didn’t meet the income requirement. As soon as we told the representative assigned to do our tour, he asks us again about our income, again we lied and said we were only students and he abruptly dismissed us and his attitude changed and left without warning. So as we are standing there for a few minutes, a woman finally tends to us and although friendly, tried to “cover” and said this was an “owners update” and then tried to find someone who would tend to us. Finally a man came and quickly toured us the 3 bedroom (unimpressive) suite and then told us this was a “courtesy tour” and we wouldn’t qualify for a gift which we could’ve cared less about. So in this “presentation” we learned nothing. How was this a courtesy tour when we were the ones being hounded by 3 separate people to attend a presentation. We heard more from the reps initially than we did from housekeeping. We were so turned off by this judgemental pretentious attitude we would never consider purchasing here. Funny the sales rep told us we didn’t know luxury until we stay with Hilton as a pitch and I wanted to laugh in his face. They potentially missed out on a sale for judging a book buy it’s cover. I felt like the scene in Selena where Jennifer Lopez/Selena tries to buy a dress at the mall on the night of the Grammys.

Very nice place was concerned after reading bad reviews. Great location can go shopping at the miracle mile shops and get to Planet Hollywood casino. Very safe have security to get into elevators and after hours need to use your key to enter. Better eating values in the mall than on the strip. Only negative thing drink prices at the pool is very very expensive $16 for a 10 oz drink. Even with that will stay here again.

2nd rate hotel and a huge letdown from a HGVC VIP member. The service was 1-star from the very beginning. We sat and waited for over 3 hours for room to be ready, while the staff kept saying it would be any minute, and they had no way of knowing when it would be ready. I told them to call housekeeping, and they said housekeeping wouldn't answer them. 2 hours after scheduled check-in time, with no answer in site, they offered us a $50 bar credit. We had a 4-bedroom suite for 5-nights, costing over $6,000, and they offered a $50 credit! We laughed at the offer, and they gave us a $100 credit! Finally, they said that 2 of our 4-rooms were ready and we could partially check in. Upon arrival to the rooms, we noticed that all 4 rooms were cleaned, so I picked up the phone and called housekeeping. They immediately answered and told me that all 4 rooms had been ready for hours! So we just sat in the lobby with my 3 kids, for hours, for no reason other than the front desk was too lazy to call housekeeping. While the room layout was nice, everything was extremely dated. The furniture hadn't been updated in 20 years. The microwave in the kitchen didn't work (compared to the 2 others in the bedrooms that did work), the sinks didn't drain well, and the washer dryer takes 6 hours to do a small load. They pool was dated as well, and most of the beach chairs were falling apart, with many of them having the entire webbing ripped out. The only place to get food in the whole hotel is the pool bar, but they won't let kids sit at the bar to eat. We were the only people eating at the time, and they had to lower the umbrellas due to the wind, so the sun was beating down on us. There were 8 empty bar seats in the shade, and no other customers, but they wouldn't let us sit there to eat. The 2nd day of our stay, we set the cleaning service on, using the in-room settings. They never came. The 3rd day, they entered our children's room without knocking, scaring the crap out of the kids. Upon checkout, we looked at our bill, and of course they didn't apply the $100 credit they promised upon check-in. Probably thought we wouldn't catch it. Sorry, but we didn't trust them for a second, so of course we looked. Upon pointing this out, they offered a $200 credit, not a refund, but just a bar credit. Better than nothing I guess. Overall, this is a very basic hotel, with few amenities, the dirtiest and cheapest mall in Vegas, not a single good bar or restaurant anywhere close, and terrible customer service. I would recommend anywhere else.

It was an okay experience. The personal/individualized welcoming atmosphere was not noticeable at this location. The location is at the end of the strip away from the major entertainment. Positives: Parking at the hotel was easy. If you want to be away from the crowd, this location is perfect.

Would recommend Elara for the perfect Las Vegas trip. Starbucks option for breakfast on site, proximity to Miracle Mile shops and restaurants and just steps away from the strip. The views from our room were magnificent.

Had a one bedroom king suite and were absolutely blown away by this stunning place. Full-ish kitchen, sectional with pull out, huge floor to ceiling windows, projection system (which, strangely wasnt connected to the DVD player, that was for the bedroom only, odd), jacuzzi tub in the master bath, shower big enough for two. Our observations, the pool drinks are spendy (but everything in vegas is), theres no dish soap provided for the kitchen, so, if you plan to make use of it, i guess bring your own? Otherwise, we were SO happy with this place. Getting out to the strip wasnt hard through the miracle mile shops.

People are nice but overall 2023 was disappointing as an owner, especially compared with several prior visits. Stuck with Hilton so will now check for other Vegas properties for the future. 3-bedroom with friends was roomy but not great or special for anyone.
