Stayed at Vdara for the first time with the family this past Thanksgiving week. 3nights/4 days and met up with the grandparents as well to spend Thanksgiving in Vegas. We had a corner suite while I booked the grandparents a fountain view studio (the view was spectacular on the 37th floor). Our corner view suite was on the 12th floor and had amazing views of the mountains, Rio, the Palms, and the backside of Bellagio. Unfortunately the Aria parking structure was also in our primary view (appears to be 10 floors), but hey those are the breaks. The experience from the Valet, to Front Desk, Security, Bell Desk, etc. was excellent from the start. Staff were attentive, professional, friendly, and efficient even given the busy holiday week and I'm sure that there are still experiencing some staffing issues as well, though this was not profound. Both rooms were spacious, stylish, and a great value for the money. The property is clean, quiet, and very manageable when compared to the vastness of a property like the Venetian. The bathrooms and soaking tubs were also great and the one in our corner suite received particular usage at night, with excellent views through the expansive windows throughout. The connecting tunnels, walkways, and transportation (people mover) to Bellagio, the Crystal Shops, Aria, and Park MGM were super convenient and if you are traveling with older individuals who might not be as adept at walking as us younger folk, this is a great option. It takes a little bit of time to get to the strip via the aforementioned methods, but hey this is Vegas and you're gonna walk and it's all part of the experience. A couple of minor gripes that are to be expected as one of our Bell Men who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable mentioned that they were approaching the property's 11th anniversary. 1. The sofa bed in our corner suite was tired looking and needs to be replaced. The comfort/appearance of the bed was not affected and they had fine linens, but the cushions of the sofa were beyond compacted, discolored from wear, and there was a cigarette hole on the backside of one of the cushions. 2. The room was very clean, but the corner suite has ledges surrounding all of the windows-there are a lot of them, and it appeared to have not been dusted. I wiped down all the ledges with wipes when we got there and noticed that they were mildly dusty again a couple of hours later. When I went to the large filter for the a/c and heating vent it was really dusty and appeared to be the source of the dust. Still not a huge gripe, and I'm sure they have some airflow regulations in place due to COVID and am also not sure the last time someone stayed in the room which may have contributed to the dust. 3. There are not that many amenities on property/that were open. Again, I have a tolerance for this due to COVID/business demand/staffing issues, just be forewarned that the pool area is closed (you can use the one at Aria-it's about a 200yd. walkoutside and up an escalator, the Starbucks onsite was only open sporadically (again there is one in Aria 200yds. away-on the way to the pool), and the onsite Vdara market has coffee and other options. I did not try this location out but the grandparents did and said it was fine. I stopped by the gym/spa which was decent and the staff was extremely friendly. The gym is a bit rectangular in space and there were about 8 folks in there which made it moderately crowded. Security did a great job of monitoring who comes into the elevator area and I did not witness or experience any "masking police" as other reviewers have again complained about. Indoor masking is still in effect and the majority of patrons and ALL staff appeared to be in compliance with both their nose and mouth covered-as it should be. Be aware that this is a pet friendly hotel and there were an ample amount of pooches around (some with tennis shoes and their own strollers) to keep their owners company. Both rooms were extremely quiet and we were very pleased with our stay. It's a bit dead comparative to other properties, but I think that's part of the appeal if that's what you're going for. The grandparents room was excellent, the decor appeared to be a bit newer when compared to the corner suite, and my parents were raving about the view, quality of the bed, and how quiet it was. They also made no complaints about ambient light coming through the windows at night as other travelers have even with the blinds closed. We'll be looking forward to a remodel of this property in the near future to tidy up some loose ends, but again our stay was excellent, the location is very good, and we would love to come back in the Spring/Summer to see how things have changed. Would've given 4.5 star if it were an option, just small takeaways for the items mentioned above. Great job Vdara and if you're on the fence, pull the trigger on this property, just be aware of some of the limited food options in the actual hotel. We'll be back.

Everything was perfect. Room was huge. Refrigerator was great. Ac kept the room cold and beds were super comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Short walk to aria or bellagio and tram took you to park Mgm. Definitely will stay again.

We usually don't stay at non-casino properties so we were a little skeptical. However, The Vdara met every one of our expectations. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and professional. Our room was amazing! Wonderful views and oh so quiet! The hotel is a short walk to the Aria Hotel, where we were able to enjoy all of their amenities. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent service and friendly staff. This resort is perfect for travelers that want a spa experience in a smoke free environment. The resort is near Aria and Bellagio if want access to great restaurants and casinos and the Vice Versa lounge is very nice for relaxing both indoors and out.

Excellent Room and service, Staff was very tentative and knowledgeable. To bad there is no restaurant on site, but the food choices in the Aria were very good. I will be staying here again as I enjoyed the location to get to anything. Great stay overall will recommend to my colleagues.
