What distinguishes the Mandarin Oriental from other high-end casino & hotel properties in Las Vegas is their staff. Personable, genuine, friendly and humble. You have to plan a stay there to see what I mean.

If you want to be able to determine when to rest and when to have fun, this is the place. Walking distance to pretty much everything in Vegas and then come back to room for rest, peace and relaxation. I didn't really appreciate this until we visited the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and Venetian. These hotels were so crowded and loud...

The hotel staff is excellent. We were greeted immediately from the bell-staff and check-in was quick and smooth. The room was large and quiet. It was on the 22nd floor and had a great view of the strip. The beds were comfortable. We used the workout facilities and there seemed to be plenty of equipment for our stay, but it...

Big gym, check Big room, check Big building, check Being part of the City Center development, it makes it easy to not having to walk alot up and down the strip (with an upscale mall and the gigantic Aria next door), but then what else is there to do if you don't walk the strip? We got rooms on the...

The title looks off-putting, so let me firstly say that our stay was great overall. The first impression of the room was outstanding and the housekeeping was very considerate and courteous at all times. We also had two enjoyable evenings at the bar, we could select our table by the window and we decided to do this on two occasions...

If you choose to stay a few days in Las Vegas, there is a remarkable number of Hotels and Casinos to choose from. If you elect to keep away from the Casinos as I do, the choices shrink significantly. And in that category to Mandarin represents the top of the heap ! I was pleasantly surprised by the rate I...

The Mandarin Oriental is an oasis in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. From the time the taxi dropped me off at the front door to the last second I left the hotel everything was perfection. I had a strip view room on the 16th floor which had a spectacular vista of the hubbub below without a peep of...

We were on a driving holiday on the West Coast and had 1 night to stay in LV. The hotel was not the easiest to find, follow the signs for the Aria hotel. Their self park is actually in the Aria hotel but they don't mention this on their website. We arrived on time for our 15:00 check in, to...
