About a decade ago my boyfriend (now fiancé) and I started coming to Las Vegas for our respective birthdays every year. If we were in the U.S.A. We would celebrate in Las Vegas. We were and still are fans of Wynn and Wynn Encore properties. However, when the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas opened in December 2009 that changed our choice...

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, early morning there were issues. The chap who checked us in took not notice of the fact we were very tired and went through the whole process of explaining the hotel. The overall look of the hotel is tired with far too much black granite and gloss finishes. The problem is when...

From the attentive staff, to the elegant decor, the MOLV is worth the indulgence. This hotel is quickly winning me back to the Strip as it is an oasis of refinement and dignity in the midst of much chaos. Amazingly secluded in feel despite its central location.

Great non casino hotel with superb service. Mandarin Bar on 23rd floor has great views of the strip and a Moet mini champagne vending machine! Rooms are well appointed and service was impeccable. Spa has excellent facilities - steam room, jet pool tub, etc. One of the few places can still find a Japanese breakfast (at Mozen). Only critique is...

Let me preface this review by saying that for Las Vegas, the Four Seasons is our first hotel of choice as our preference is to stay at a non-casino hotel close to the main strip. However, we decided to give the Mandarin Oriental a try mainly based on our past experiences staying at the Mandarin Oriental locations in Tokyo, Taipei...

We had a really relaxing weekend at Mandarin Oriental. Not a gaming hotel, but in a great location. One of the best spas in Vegas. Great amenities and rooms. Very well maintained. However, if you are looking for the party hotel, this is NOT it.

The Mandarin Oriental is a lovely hotel. The service provided by the staff is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Stayed here for five nights during March; the hotel provided a welcome retreat from the madness of the strip. Having no casino gives the hotel a completely different atmosphere – you can almost feel the calmness as you walk in....

Mandarin Oriental is my preferred hotel to stay in while in Las Vegas. It's close enough to the action but yet remote from all the craziness. The spa/pool are top notch and never crowded. I would recommend Jasmine for the East Meets West massage -- simply an amazing two hour experience. For whatever reason, I felt bombarded by service help...

The Mandarin Oriental was a wonderful surprise!! After staying in numerous high end hotels in Las Vegas over the years, we found this one to be the most serene and elegantly appointed. The service was spectacular and the staff very, very accomodating and oh so pleasant!!! We stayed in a "strip view suite" which was very spacious and had all...
