The Berkley, Las Vegas, garners appreciation for its well-equipped kitchens and clean, spacious rooms, with many guests enjoying the comfort and homely vibe. Its location receives mixed reviews; while it's close to some attractions, others find it too remote.
The serene atmosphere and friendly service are notable, though service consistency and unexpected fees have been points of contention. While the hotel's amenities are generally well-received, the dated decor and limited services, along with maintenance issues in some rooms, have been noted by travelers.

Detailed Reviews
Because we had a car and have been to Las Vegas many times, staying in a apartment off the strip was what I searched for online. The Berkley was perfect for us. Complete kitchen, dining area, living room with comfortable couches, very large bathroom with walk-in shower and oversized tub, separate area with sink and makeup table and bench. We stayed 4 nights and it was honestly the best sleep I’ve had in ages. Super comfy king sized bed, lots of pillows, extremely quiet. We were on the second floor overlooking the pool and hot tub area. The Berkley and Silverton Casino are part of the same property. There’s tons of free parking all around the resort (but no resort fees), nice grassy areas with fire pits, Adirondack chairs to lounge on, a few restaurants in the casino. Because the Berkley is far south of the strip you do need a car or taxi to get anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc, across Blue Diamond Road but it’s a hefty walk. The odd things were - you had to agree to housekeeping during your stay but every day you have to call and request no service. During COVID, I don’t want strangers in my room. If you don’t agree when you check in, then you cannot get fresh towels or whatever. There’s a washer and dryer in the 1 bedroom apartments. They leave 1 box of laundry soap for 1 small load but if you want more you have to buy it from the vending machine. They do not offer late checkout. They will allow you an extra half hour but that’s 10:30 AM. Doesn’t help if you have a late flight. I had booked a 2 bedroom suite but it turned out to be 2 one bedroom apartments, mirror images of each other. Walk in your door from the hallway, then there are apartment A and B doors. Not adjoining. Not a big deal, just odd. Regardless, we loved our stay at the Berkley and will definitely stay there again.

The Berkeley in Las Vegas is a block of apartments adjacent to the Silvertown casino. The block is a long way from the Strip, so you will need a car. There is a bus but it doesn’t come more than once an hour, even though they are scheduled every 30 minutes.
The apartment itself is modern, clean and well laid out. There’s a comfortable queen sized bed and quality bedding and pillows. There are also 2 tv’s with a range of American only channels.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, 2 x electric hob and a large fridge freezer. (Studio apartment). All cutlery, cups, plates etc are supplied and are in good condition. There’s also a free guest laundry on the 4th floor with a washing machine and a tumble dryer and a vending machine for soap powder.
The reason I’m giving 4 and not 5 starts is because I specifically asked for a quiet room and one on the ground or first floor as I’m afraid of heights. I was put on the 5th floor, where there’s floor to ceiling glass and the room was the nearest to the 3 lifts that were running day and night. The room itself is soundproofed so you can’t hear your neighbours but the front door isn’t and the traffic and noise was endless.
The Berkeley doesn’t have any restaurant facilities but the casino next door has a number of fast food and restaurant options and there is a garage with a convenience store attached nearby. Just cross the 8 lane interstate at the end of the road, which has a pedestrian crossing.
Would I stay here again? Probably not. It’s too far out and unless you have an apartment at the end of the corridors, the noise would be prohibitive for me.

New, clean and spacious units. Would have given a 5 star but pool was too cold to enjoy. Stayed for a week but they never attempted to increase the temperature after numerous guests complained. Flexible room cleaning available, didn’t need daily housekeeping service and preferred not having them come every day.

Resort is slightly off the strip and close to Silvertone Casino. The resort was in a very scenic location surrounded by hills all around. The view form the bedroom in the morning was very nice. The resort had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There was minimal room service available every day. Normally, you get them once a week. So that was was a nice benefit. The staff were providing any supplies we needed with a smile (washing machine soap, dishwashing hand soap, coffee pods, etc.) . The parking was free. There was a swimming pool and Hot tub available. We did not use it but looked clean and not too full. Las Vegas was hot (close to 40 C), but the Air Conditioning in the room were working well and kept the rooms cool. Overall, we had a nice stay. Will recommend it as a nice resort for all ages.

Excellent hotel used during a business trip. An Uber to Mandalay Bay convention center takes 12 minuten, no traffic jams. Hotel itself has spacious rooms with a living and kitchenette. I would definitely recommend these. There is everything from dryer, washer to microwave and a fridge and oven. And you might need it as the hotel itself has no breakfast. There is a nearby casino and Cracker Barrel at a < 3 min walk, so not a problem. Hotel hygiene is fine, everything is clean and proper.

We had great view of strip. We enjoyed the pool and the weight room. Staff was very pleasant and attentive when needed. We had a 1 bedroom that was quite roomy with a comfortable bed, large bathroom with 2 sinks (1 in bathroom and 1 adjoining) a shower and separate tub. There was a nice sized living area with 2 couches and a small dining room with a table and 3 chairs. The full kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and had a 5 foot counter that we ate most of our meals at. We took Ubers over to the strip which was about 10 minutes away. It was nice to be a little bit away from the strip and the craziness until we were ready to go out at night.

Overall, the room was nice. Lots of room with a full kitchen that was fully furnished with pots, dishes, etc... The towels however felt like drying off with a piece of sandpaper. I have never had a towel that was so rough. Also, when you walk into the lobby it looks shabby. There is not a single decoration, picture, or anything. I have seen more nicely decorated lobbies in Super 8 motels Pool is small. For a place that is listed as a 4 star facility they need to make some improvements. Staff and check in were great.

Really enjoyable stay, the unit is spacious and nicely appointed. Staff very friendly and accommodating, helpful with suggestions. Everything we needed was on hand and available in unit, pool towels, extra tissue, paper towels, etc. The unit is comfortable for a couple or small family. Nice and roomy bathroom with a separate vanity is a perfect addition to the unit. The kitchen is well stocked with good appliances and cookware. Ample parking and easy access to the garage or out door lot. Driving or walking is convenient to many food places, shopping and casino.

I am an owner through RCI at The Berkley. Imagine my surprise when I got treated just like jo schmo who booked their room through Travelocity or whoever. The grills did not work and we found that out only when we wanted to use them so I had to cook hamburgers in my condo. Our whole condo smelled like hamburgers all week. When we checked in we had one simple request, that we be put in the same room number sides a and b with my brother in law and sister in law. We both called multiple times before we traveled and then asked when we got there and guess what apparently it was impossible to accommodate. I find this funny as the girl at the front desk told me if we would have arrived the same day they would have put us together. I will say the resort itself was nice. We love the location and the view from the condo. Silverton casino is right next door and has great restaurants and was not as crowded as the casinos on the strip.

When we check in, they say ‘welcome home’. We did not feel welcome at the end of our stay. We made a mistake thinking our check out time was 11, when it was in fact 10. Definitely our mistake. We were given a ‘courtesy’ extra 30 minutes. At 10:35, a security guard was sent to our room to make sure we were leaving. Not housekeeping, a SECURITY GUARD, sent there to make sure we were leaving the premises. It was extremely embarrassing as our guest was still there. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. We were clearly trying our best to get out of there as quick as we could (front desk even called to make sure we were leaving at 10:45). I already had a big cart loaded up that the security guard could see and it did take me 2 trips. He stood there the entire time (again, like I was a criminal in trying to stay longer). My guest told him that room B was clear and ready to be attended to and he didn’t even acknowledge her speaking to him. Very odd behavior.
I’ve never felt more offended at a place that I’m an owner at and have spent over $12k to ‘enjoy these services’. My wife and I will NEVER stay at the Berkeley again. We’re really considering if we want to continue being owners with this company if there are other properties that are going to treat us like this.
On a side note, another thing that bothered us, is that we weren’t even allowed to have extra towels. We were told ‘this is not a hotel and you have to wash your own towels. Come down and get laundry soap’. I’ve never been told that at any of your properties and we’ve stayed at several.
The fold out couch mattress was very poor as well. My guest has booked a massage for tomorrow to help with how awful her sleep was

It is a hot tub.
We stayed at the Berkeley in November. At the time, there were no extra fees. No resort fee, plenty of free parking. So the posted price is what you’ll pay. No add ones.
Very safe area, we felt more safe here than on the strip
