Very positive. Location was close to the airport and to the Vegas strip. It was not necessary to have a car and I felt that was a great selling point. The property was well maintained . It is a place I would go back to and recommend to others as a vacation spot to stay at.
Always enjoy our trips to Holiday Inn Desert Club Resort. It is our first choice location in Vegas. We stay for 10-14 days usually so we don't want to be in a noisy hotel. We love being able to bbq and enjoy the deck and quieter pools. Rooms are always clean and well equipped. Like staying in a great condo!
Big rooms and nice shared structure. 15 minutes walking to Strip. Perfect to family or if you use part of time to rest or work. Friendly staff. Shutle to Strip is not really necessary, but since we have, it could be more frequelntly and stop later.
Nice one bed deluxe. Great view of the high roller and main pool. Plenty of standard kitchen essentials to get through the week. Bath is acceptable. Would have preferred a shower curtain that fit and toilet paper with substance. Felt like I could do a better cleaning job with the tissue paper 🤦♀️ The toilet likes to run, consistently, unless you jiggle the handle every single time you flush. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a call or two. Third time we have been here and always a pleasant experience.
The staff at the check in desk were incredibly great. We thought we were onto a winner but that quickly changed by the next morning. The floors were so dirty that our socks were blackened every single day. The housekeeping staff did nothing to clean the floors and barely touched anything else. The options for recycling were painfully non existant. The worst thing about the property was the soundproofing. We were told we had paid for the nicest of the rooms and quite rightly we had splashed out as we had a significant birthday. We were positioned in 3-201, next to the road which was constant noise every evening. Just when you think you're able to get some sleep, the airplanes start at 4am and never stop. It was such a dispointment that we had paid so much and couldn't even have a soundproofed stay. Also, the WIFI didn't work for two days of our stay which forced our party to pay extra for roaming charges. We also had electricity issues which were quickly addressed by the lovely maintenance staff. We were also promised 5 pools but one was out of operation. This hotel has so much potential but needs to address the cleaning, recycling and most importantly noise issues. I don't think it was worth half the money we paid.…
This is a superb resort, a ten minute walk from the strip. There are busses to and from the resort into the Las Vegas Strip throughout the day. There is a grocery in the resort, great pools and nice restaurant. This is our second visit and will go back again.
Not all things fully running. 2 closer pools were shut down for construction and main pool got more crowded due to this. The only bar and food area was walk-in only and took some time due to low staffing. Main pool water was not heated at all. This resort could be a very nice Off-Strip location if more amenities were provided
Value for money, I would say this is it Neat, clean with lot of elbow room (depends on size) Literally behind the strip Bed room units with full kitchen had all required items. It also has a shuttle service to and from strip within reasonable frequency
We have stayed at this resort twice and had a great experience both times. The one bedroom unit we had each time was very clean and well kept, and so are the grounds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The on site licensed restaurant has very good food and is priced reasonably. The location of the resort is perfect: off the Strip but within a 10 minute walk from the Strip, or if you prefer not to walk, the resort operates a free shuttle that goes to the Tropicana, and to Treasure Island several times each day. When we stayed here 4 years ago they were actually operating a shuttle to 4 different drop off/pick up locations, including Freemont, which was fantastic and we hope they will consider reinstating that perk. Uber service is also available, so for about $15 you can get to or from the airport, and also to or from Freemont. Another added bonus was the free magic show featuring Greg Dow. Really entertaining and did some amazing stuff. The main pool where we swam was clean, and well equipped with lots of chairs and tables and umbrellas. However we did find the water sort of chilly, and wondered if installing some black plastic pipe on top of the waterfall rock, and circulating the water through it to catch the heat from the sun, would be an inexpensive way to warm it up a bit. Also, with respect to the chairs and lounge chairs at the pool, they were made with kind of thin plastic strip material that got quite soft when the sun shone on it, so not real comfortable or supportive. But having said that, overall it was a great place to stay and we definitely plan to go back again.…
I absolutely cannot fault the room or the lovely service at the check in desk. We were expecting quite a basic room and what we got was a very clean, comfortable and well equipped small suite with a balcony and our own laundrette. Pool were lovely, quiet and clean. However, upon arrival at the hotel, once you’ve completed check in, you are sent to a second desk to ‘collect your keys’. The real purpose of this step is to try to sell you meals, tours and a time share. I would have found this very irritating after a long flight. The other let down was the breakfast. Booking.con said breakfast was included, which I guess was technically true, but you can only pick from 4 very limited a la carte options, and drinks are not included with the breakfast. The restaurant is also absolutely tiny for the size of the resort, and we were waiting quite some time to be seen to. We only used 1/4 of our breakfast vouchers as it really wasn’t worth it. The resort is in a good location, just off the main strip. I believe there is a shuttle to the strip but it’s not a bad walk. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again- it’s a shame those two things let it down.…
