I stayed here years ago when it was the Ritz Carlton and enjoyed every moment of my stay. We did a 1000 mile road trip and this was to be our last night before we fly home. All appeared normal when we arrived, our bellman Johnathan was so sweet and the highlight of our trip. Once we got into the room we began to attempt to get settled and that’s when we started to notice all the issues. First, we noticed a large stain on the duvet cover, when we pulled the sheets back to further inspect, there were hairs on the bed sheets. Next, when I went to locate the plugs, I saw the MOUNTAIN of dust & hair caked on the floor & baseboards - it was nasty. Next, we look up to the ceiling to find 3 shoe prints, yes you read correctly, shoe prints on the ceiling, from a size 15 shoe or larger. I called and asked for another room and was accommodated. However, before leaving the room I had an expectation that a hotel manager would come view the reported issues with the room but instead, the bellman who came to move us did the inspection and reported to hotel management. The room they moved us to was only slightly better (less dust but still needs a good scrubbing) but we were exhausted and just ready to shower & sleep (sheets & duvet were clean) There were only two towels in the room and I needed to wash my hair. We called and requested more towels, they never came. We had to go to the front desk to get them. If circumstances were different, I would have not stayed here at all. We received a fruit plate, apology card & a call from the hotel manager, Christian. He requested we email him copies of the photos we took of the issues, which we did. We were not offered a discount or refund which in my mind was the only thing that would have “made it right”. I believe there is a systemic issue at the hotel with housekeeping, the standards are that of a “flea bag” motel. On our trip, we stayed at independent hotels, chain hotels & a Hampton Inn (a Hilton chain) - we had no issues with cleanliness at these hotels. I would never stay here again and would advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere. …
The location is breath taking, when you drive up prepare to be wowed. The front desk staff was warm and inviting. They thought of everything for you! Fun safe environment, secluded and a great stay for single or family stay. This will not be my last stay. Oh and Mrs. CoCo’s on the proper was a dreamy cute place to have breakfast or brunch.
I am scheduled to stay at Lake Las Vegas Hilton for a conference and attempted to schedule a "Spa Day" for my wife. When I called to schedule the person said that most of the equipment was broken or being repaired. I then asked for just a facial, manicure pedicure for my wife. I was told that everything was booked. And this is before arrival. I also see from reviews that their pool closes at 5 PM. That is crazy. Those attending conferences usually are not free until after 4 or 5 PM - so no pool access. And this is the desert - it is hot at night and a dip in the pool would be great. I am a Hilton Honors member and EXTREMELY unhappy - I am going to discuss my companies choice of venues with the decisions makers.
This place had some highs and lows. It is a very dated property, and my room was pretty dilapidated for 4 star hotel. Shower handle was broken and shelf was missing- furniture had also seen better days. Front desk staff were very nice. Location and views were stupendous, LOVED all of the restaurants and areas to walk nearby. Drive from LAS was also not bad at all. Couple other hiccups: I needed to take a night off the end of my stay, the first time I called, they said it would cost over $500 to let them open their room back up but I then called the front desk directly and they did it easily for no charge. When I arrived to my room the bedding had some stains, but I called the front desk and the next day my room was in much better shape after housekeeping came again. The location is a definite asset but it just isn't kept up at a 4 star hotel level.…
We wanted a resort experience away from the strip, but sadly this place did not deliver. We booked a "lake view" room but the lake is in the distance, and the real views are of the hotel quad and the village. We were assigned a room on the fifth floor with a balcony, which we thought would be nice. But: outside the bar on the third floor, smoking is allowed on the terrace and we were constantly smoked out. On the last night of our four night stay, the smokers were out until 2:00 a.m. talking and scraping chairs. Even without the smoke, the chairs on the balcony were covered with bird poop. The hefty resort fee touts a $15.00 daily included cocktail, but in reality you get a "Tuscan Sunset Cocktail", which is wine punch served from a pitcher. There was no housekeeping, which seemed hard to justify at this point in the "pandemic". The pool is not especially scenic and is somewhat hard to access. The toilet was so low to the floor that it was hard to reach. After getting five room keys that didn't work consistently, we learned that the Hilton app allows you to open your room door from your phone--that was nice.…
We received an upgrade to a balcony room and appreciated the lovely view. The front desk was friendly and assisted with a minor problem we had with the second room we booked. In general it felt like this hotel needs a bit of a facelift and there wasn't great signage so it was easy to get lost. For an event (which there were many happening while we were there) it is probably just fine but for a small group as we were it was not as ideal. There was lots of gathering spaces and the bar is open late in the lobby. I gave this an average rating as I believe it wasn't very memorable and probably was better years ago. It's lacking identity.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We came for the pool only and when I called at 6 the pool was already closed. Was excited to have a yard walking out the sliding glass door, later found out it's the pet relief area 🙄 Everything that came with the ridiculous price I paid for these rooms was closed. Sunset station has way better rooms for cheaper, the pool has nice long hours and much better food options, movie theater, bowling and an arcade.
We booked a 2 night stay at the Hilton on Lake Las Vegas. Big mistake! The first room we were in had bugs all over the ceiling and a blood stain and the bed cover and the doors casing holding the security latch was broken They moved us to another room and you could hear the conversation in the adjoins room though the door. It was if the door was not shut. The beds in the rooms were full size instead of queens and the floor would have been softer. We tried the Medici restaurant for breakfast, don't waste your money there either. That's the first and last stay there!
The people in the next room were frying meat and the smoke filled our room. We notified the hotel desk and they did nothing. The hallway was filled with the meat smoke. It appears that this hotel does not care about possible fire hazards. No hotel staff checked my room.
Great location to local golf courses but the resort is not kept up for the price for the stay. Booked a water view and it was a view of the lagoon. Room cleanliness received a 1 out of 10. POOR! Expect more out of a facility of this caliber. I am a Hilton Honors member and I would recommend The Westin over this resort.
