Rented a pool cabana for the day and could not be happier. The service was outstanding and price was on par with other pools. The Chicken Nachos were great also. We are glad the Flamingo could not accommodate their guests with access to their pool and that Green Valley Ranch Resort could! Thank you for a great time!

I was so worried about planning a vacation during Covid but we did our research and talked to plenty of employees before planning and I’m 100% pleased It was clean, the rooms are amazing and the pool our favorite definitely recommend and will be returning next month and plan on making this our yearly spot. We stayed in the Geneva suite it was so amazing specially with kids. Perfect!

My family and I planned a trip to Zion. We decided to leave a day early so I could show my friend Green Valley Resort. My 13 year old daughter and I stayed here June 26-28 and had a wonderful time. My day started off a little off. Had problems with a rental car and 2 cars later we were finally on our way. It was my daughter, my friend, and her 11 year old daughter. I called the hotel at 6:26 to let them know we wouldn’t be there until about midnight. I then called at 7:41pm because I received an email from my Capital One card that said my card was declined. The woman I spoke to couldn’t understand why it was being charged since we hadn’t checked in. I mentioned to her that did check in online but was arriving later than planned. She said no worries I’ll put you down for 1am and if it was any later to give them a call. A few minutes later, at 8:01AM, I received a call from a woman who said she was the assistant manager and she said she looked into the multiple attempts on my card being charged and I mentioned to her that the car rental place put one to many holds on my card but I could bring another card in to pay for the service charge. She said okay, the room has been paid for, we could use another card for the 40 something service charge, and she also said she would hold our room until 3AM. I said thanks and that we should arrive around midnight. So we arrive around 12:30am. I go to check in and present my drivers license and 2 credit cards. The one I made the reservation with and a new one for the incidental charges. I mentioned to her that I had spoken to someone about it. She then goes to the back and is gone for a bit. Then she comes out with what I assume is the front desk manager and another bigger guy who looks like security. He says he is refusing service and that we need to leave the property. I asked why and he said he didn’t have to explain and that we had to leave. Now we have 2 girls who are exhausted and on the verge of tears. Of course I continued to question him and his response was either “You need to leave the property” or “I do not need to share that information.” I then proceeded with, I was here last month and I don’t understand. I didn’t make a big scene and did not raise my voice. I was tired and completely confused. I have never been spoken to like that before. I then asked if I was getting my money back for what I was already charged for. I don’t recall what happened next but his demeanor did change. He then said he could cancel this reservation and book a new one with a different card and he would honor the nightly rate we originally had. I wanted to scream “REALLY!!!! NOW YOU TELL ME!!!!” But I didn’t. I said okay. He then tried to make small talk with me!!! I felt very belittled and like a criminal. Once we got to our rooms the girls were so distraught and couldn’t understand what just happened. The whole point of brining my friend here was to show her a good spot off the strip. I even recommended this place to locals and they came last week. It is beautiful here but I can assure you we will likely not be back.

I was disappointed at disconnected reception we received checking in and the $40 charge demanded of us to have our check out extended by 1 hour until 1PM. I have been told (occasionally) no late check out . I have been told there would be a cost to stay the afternoon. But I have never, in literally thousands of hotel nights in the past, been asked to pay for a one or two hour late check out. Furthermore, although the pool use was understandably limited, and the spa was closed, there was no adjustment in the mandatory "$44 resort fee". Why not?

Our stay is August 15 - 19, 2020. We booked the Geneva suite at the Green Valley Resort solely because it had a pool/billiards table. We specifically asked for the highest floor we could get. We figured at least with Covid and uncertain what is open, we could at least play pool in a large suite. Other suites on the property quite frankly looked a lot better, but Geneva had a POOL TABLE. Our first night’s stay was in a deluxe king since no suites were available Saturday night and were charged $20 extra for a pool view which turned out to be a partial pool view and a full view of the freeway. We were supposed to get the first available Geneva suite Sunday. We watched housekeeping clean a vacant Geneva suite next to our deluxe king room at about 9am, peered in, saw the pool table and figured that was our new room. Front desk told us it takes 3 hours to clean and sanitize a suite due to Covid, That means we should have had a room by noon or 1pm. We were also told to be packed and ready for our new room once it was ready for the bell hop to pick up our bags. We were packed and waited, waited, waited until finally getting a text at 3:13 PM Letting us know our room was ready. A full 13 minutes after regular check-in time! We asked for a bell hop. Waited, waited and finally got a call the bell hop was delayed. I hauled our bags into the hallway. Housekeeping came to our door 5 times throughout the day trying to clean our deluxe king room because we were supposed to be out of there according to their schedule but we did not feel comfortable leaving until we got the next room. We entered our Geneva suite and found a large piano in the living room instead of a pool table. We play pool not piano!!! Very disappointed all other suites were taken and management could do nothing to accommodate us. Take it or leave it. Front desk manager told us we could take the room or check out. The manager offered a food and drink credit and we declined. We had dinner reservations at Hank’s inside the hotel with our friend coming soon to join us for dinner and decided to stay. We specifically asked the manager to send the bell hop up with our bags immediately. He did not and we waited yet again. Finally we got our bags with only 15 minutes to get ready for dinner!! The Geneva suite was dirty (after a 3 hour room sanitization process??). We asked for housekeeping to vacuum the floor. There were strands of hair on the ottoman. The sink in the bar area was clogged. Absolutely no glasses, coffee maker or other amenities in the bar (possibly due to Covid protocol). The room is pretty, but old. Sofa is very uncomfortable. Balcony is too narrow for a chair to sit outside and no outside furniture was on the balcony. Suite is on the second floor (we requested a high floor room) and view of the pool is obstructed by trees. The outside pool has lounging beds and the bedding is old, tattered and needs to be replaced. If you are looking for luxury this is NOT the place!! Unable to upload photos, but wish I could!! We are planning a two week stay in the area to purchase property soon and will NEVER stay here again!!
