My wife and I stay at the Hotel Nevada on our trip to Ely. Close to the Nevada Northern Railroad and to the Great Basin National Park. The hotel staff were extremely nice and very helpful. The rooms were updated and are very nice and clean. The bed is very comfortable. I recommend staying at the Hotel Nevada if you’re visiting Ely.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! Staff was very rude and we woke up to NO hot water for showers!!! It was terrible. The manager did nothing when we complained. Blaming it on old hotel with pressure issues. No Compensation offered. I will never stay at this hotel again!!!!!!

5 couples visited Ely, Nevada for our first weekend getaway after a long quarantine! It was a perfect stay! We enjoyed the free breakfast, clean rooms, and friendly hospitality! We watched the VGK game and received a free shot each time the knights scored! Definitely a small town vibe as everyone celebrated. The comfortable mattress made the stay even better after a long day exploring the off-road trails and a fantastic steak dinner at The Cell Block across the street! Will definitely return for future visits and recommend the stay to others!

Go somewhere else! The staff here is rude and very short. I made a request for early check in because I’d been working all night and wanted to go to sleep. They acted as though I was a major inconvenience to them and wouldn’t do anything to confirm if my room was ready. The girl behind the counter just walked away and started doing something else. When I came back at 3:00 to check in at the actual check in time the girl was there with her manager. They were both equally as short. The manager told me she could not find my reservation. I showed her my confirmation through Priceline and she told me that was no good because it didn’t have a breakdown of each night, it just had the overall price. I asked her to call Priceline for me to confirm my reservation. She said she did not have their phone number and called the next customer up to the desk. I spent nearly 20 minutes finding all the reservation information because she was too lazy and rude to help. When I got to the room it was filthy, cramped, and the hot water didn’t work. I had stayed here before multiple times but this was the worst experience I’d ever had. I’m not coming back here. I told the manager this and she just said “ok”. They clearly don’t care about their customers here.

Just took a trip to explore the southwest for 9 days. We decided to check out this historic town of Ely and the Hotel Nevada. It’s a small gambling joint with no atmosphere. My biggest complaint was that my sheets on the bed had blood stains. I didn’t realize it until the morning. When I was checking out I informed the woman working the counter of the issue. She only took photos of the photos from my phone and said “that’s not right “ I asked that the hotel manager call me which never happened.
