We had a very pleasant stay here. Being frequent travelers to Carson City we wanted to try something different this time. First we had checked into to another motel down the strip. We decided that we could not spend another night in that dirty room. The Pioneer Motel was less expensive and so much cleaner! The staff was great (no...

This is a small. privately owned place reminiscent of the old highway motels. The owners and managers are obviously making an effort and we loved our stay. Previously, we've stayed at the Wyndham across the street, and Fri nite, the one down the street. It was intolerable, so Sat nite we checked here. It is older, clean, convenient, and inexpensive....

Going thru Carson City was a last minute decision on our way home down I-395 along the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. A quaint small city yet the state capitol of Nevada. Selected the Pioneer Motel on a whim. For only $44 a night we got a very good queen size bed, quiet neighborhood, great TV with...

I just needed a room for the night and was able to get one of the last ones here. I'm sorry I didn't have a bathing suit with me as the pool looked very inviting. It was clean other than the carpet. I was very surprised and disappointed that there was no mini fridge and microwave that I am used...

The large casino hotel across the road was asking a silly price, so we dropped in here instead. The owners are friendly and the price was very reasonable. The room was glum-coloured but clean. Bathroom old but clean and functional. Had no bug experiences. Nice little pool, too - not visible from the road. Coffee and donuts breakfast included.

We stayed here on our last road trip through Oregon, Nevada, and California. Very inexpensive ($37.00 with tax). We just needed a place to stop for the night and the price fit the bill. The guy at the front desk was helpful, suggesting places to eat. Wouldn't be a destination place, but I'd stay again if we were in need...

I have stayed here each summer during fishing season. The rooms are clean, the managers are really nice, and the rooms are priced very affordable. Last year my son and grandson met up with me to do some fishing and they also stayed here. After their stay, my grandson remarked that it was a really great place!............not too bad coming...

Unfotunatelly when we woken up in the morning our bodies were full of spot. The room was ok, also it didn’t looks so clean. The owner, a kind girl from Philippines, is nice and helpful. So when we come back to Italy two days later with a lot of bites and we were itking all over, we weren’t so happy.

Couldnt figure out why i kept seeing black or brown stains on my pillow case or why i felt bugs crawling on my face in the night...had only been in the bed from ten pm until one am and got up to discover the bugs crawling on the sheets, in the pillow cases, and all over the mattress pad. I...

Had a one-night stay at this charming mid-century motel. Rooms are kept up very nicely and the bed, linens, and pillows were much better than I'd expect at a low-budget property. Only negatives was the fairly loud air conditioner and lack of wi-fi. Still, I'd stay again without hesitation. Why stay at a glorified jail-cell (Motel 6) when you can...
