The facility and grounds look nice, but the renovation is still underway so things are unfinished. Our room lacked reading lamps and a closet or armoire, so there was no way to hang clothes. They can do better than this.

Thought this would be a good place to stay as it is close to Death Valley. Got there at 5:15 p.m. and waited a half hour for a room. No big deal but I would have thought rooms would be available by then. Rooms are being renovated. Nice carpet, tile and sinks. Beds are great. Furniture pieces are still old...

We had a good stay here. We were placedin a new build section, which was nice except for the old furniture. They Tols us the new furniture hadn't arrived yet. I would not have opened it yet with the old stuff. We spent some time in the very hot hottub, which was really nice. All in all, we had a...

Room was big, clean, comfortable, slightly dated. Pool outside was nice. I had a pleasant stay and the overall experience was good, but I have to say I've gotten a better deal for the price before. If you're looking for a decent place to stay near Death Valley, this will do it.

No great choices of hotels in Beatty which is about 1 hour s drive from Furnace Creek. Whilst we were relieved to see a town and greenery after the barren desert scenery, our stay was disappointing for below reasons 1. lack of breakfast and dinning facilities. if you are a day tripper to DV and arrive late night, you might...

The property continues to be under renovation. The room was spacious and clean, as were the grounds (altho in desperate need of weeding). Beautiful roses! Accepts pets and has a very reasonable pet charge (the city park is just up the street - pets allowed - and there is a vacant lot in the back). Those were the positives. On...

Everything was brand new and clean: paint, bathroom fixtures, bedding...not to mention a great firm mattress!!! Beatty is a small town and the motel is situated close to the main intersection. Convenient. Check-in was quick thanks to Doug :-) Price is quite reasonable and allows to stay close to Death Valley National Park on a budget. From Beatty to the...

Impromptu stay as visiting Death Valley. We also had to find a place that accepts pets. The receptionist was friendly and because the night before they were fully booked and short on cleaning staff we were asked to come back later. The room was clean but very dated. The walls are paper thin and heard conversations of our neighbor.

You get what you pay for, but the pillows in this joint are thrift store rejects. Even two together didn't do the job, and I kept waking up all night. They only have 2 maids to cover the entire motel, and these poor ladies were stil working at 7 p.m. last night. As a consequence, room service was incomplete as...

We decided to go to Death Valley too late, everything was booked in the Valley. We tried this Inn and found it quite satisfactory, and not that far from all we wanted to see in Death Valley. Rooms were clean, staff were helpful, and there is a pool and spa. Down side is food, there are not many restaurants in...
