Nice mom and pop type hotel. Very clean. Fridge and microwave, not a bad breakfast but due to covid it's nice they still have one. I used to stay at a hotel down the street from there and it's gone down hill since it switched owners so I thought I'd try out the Yorkshire. Glad I did! I stayed there again on my way back from Denver a week later. Both times it was just what I needed for the night. Local restaurants very close by walking distance most. Gas right next door.
Great value, clean room - fresh scent of freshly washed linens, shower with bathtub, continental breakfast : cereal bagels muffins yogurt hot chocolate. what we needed for stop through on our way to visit family.
We stay here about 3 times a year when passing by on I-80. The front desk is always polite and helpful, the rooms are clean, parking area is well lighted, a restaurant is 20 yards way, coffee and such is available at 6AM, and the price is very reasonable. Yes, there are less expensive motels, but do you really want to stay in them? On this last trip, we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in Ohio on I-80 and it was 3 times as expensive and not as nice. Well run, reasonable independent motels seem to be dying out. We support them when we can.
We were delighted with this accommodation. Nothing fancy, but we weren't looking for fancy. Everything was clean and oh so comfortable! The owners really seem to care about their facility and the comfort of their guests. Rooms were spacious and furnishings were spotless.
The room was very clean, freshly painted, and the furniture was polished. Breakfast was basic toaster items, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee, and hot chocolate. We stayed in a quiet upstairs room, no pets. They do have pet friendly rooms. The stairwell and enclosed walkways were worn but for $50, CDL rate, it was a great value.
