Bob and Helen were superb hosts. We would not hesitate to recommend Dalqueich Farmhouse. It was the most comfortable B&B we have ever stayed in, and such a lovely home. Bob and Helen even posted on my favourite pair of socks when I left them behind; for which many thanks. My kilt outfit would never have been the same if... More

There are so many little touches that make this a great place to stay. From lovely toiletries, fruit in the room, comfortable room and sitting room, great shower through to the best breakfast in a B&B I have ever had. You hosts are helpful and friendly. What more could you ask?

We stayed at Dalqueich Farmhouse for the weekend as we were attending a wedding in Kinross. Our room was clean and absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choices, and it was delicious. With candles and music, it was a relaxing experience, not just food. Helen and Bob were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make our... More

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post such a lovely review. We were pleased that you also had time to enjoy the boat trip to castle island as well as local walks and Rumbling Bridge and Dollar's Castle Campbell- some of our favourite places. We had a great stay with Helen & Bob at Dalqueich. The rooms were gorgeous, breakfast was delicious and the welcome couldn't have been warmer. We bought some homemade chutney and jam to takeaway after a brilliant night's sleep in the most comfortable bed. I cannot recommend highly enough! Thank you for a great stay

As always Helen and Bob were attentive to our needs and the stay was relaxing. Breakfast is something to look forward to and really sets you up for the day, the array of freshly baked bread and home cooked produce is delightful. It is always a pleasure to stay and the arrival refreshments are splendid.

We stayed at Dalqueich Farmhouse our first night in Scotland. Tired from the trans US and trans Atlantic flights we were greeted with friendship by our hosts. We went to bed early and were off on our journey. Upon arrival the second time we were able to enjoy the company of our hosts and really got the feel for it.... More

We received a very friendly warm welcome and we were offered refreshments after our long journey. Our room was beautiful, clean and traditional. So glad that you enjoyed your stay and the golf- we were busy all weekend, extending into Monday as the Golf Open was delayed by the weather. The weather remained cool so we are still lighting fires to keep the dining room looking cosy in the early morning. Hope to see you again soon and thanks for the kind review. More

We stayed here while on a short break for my girlfriends birthday, and i have to say, what an experience. There are definitely more expensive places that could learn alot from Dalqueich Farmhouse. The place itself is lovely, secluded, comfy, homely and welcoming. Our room was the same, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very pleasant. Where... More

While visiting dear friends in Kinross, they put us up in this lovely "farmhouse". The gardens are amazing, and our charming room was filled with fanciful illustrations by M. Smythe and others. A fire had been set for breakfast, and the room glowed with candlelight and more careful touches. Helen and Bob provided an array of fresh and prepared fruits,... More

Your review is so encouraging, we are happy that you had an enjoyable time in Scotland, and for us a chance to share common interests in art, gardens and food. We're sure that you would enjoy the Pittenweem Arts Festival held in early August (they have a website) - Margaret Smyth exhibits in her house; a family affair as they... More
