My wife and I stayed here on our way to Gros Morne Park/Rocky Harbour and it was a JOY, clean, fresh rooms and a hearty breakfast, as good as the wonderful scenery. We intended to stay here again on our way back to the P aux Basques ferry, but were hit with hurricane force winds (159kph) and torrential rains, so...

This B & B has lovely airy and spacious rooms decorated with quilts on the comfortable beds. We enjoyed a lovely view of the garden and river from our room on the second floor at the back of the house. Everything was clean and fresh appearing. We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast as it was very simple with...

We stayed there one night on our way from the ferry to Gros Morne and found it a relaxing, convenient stop over. It is less than 30 minutes from the ferry terminal, so you don’t need to worry if the ferry is late. The inn is in a lovely location by a river. We were in the Orchid Room, which...

We booked online and my husband called to speak with the owner. She was vry nice and friendly. She showed us the rooms and we choose the room at the front with the most windows. It was nice in the morning with the light peeking through. We were the only ones there that night and it was nice to know...

We stayed for one night in this lovely b&b on our way to gros morne from the ferry. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view of the river and mountains. The breakfast was simple and delicious, and we enjoyed a little "kitchen party" where we were able to chat with the lovely inn owners Gerald and Marie,...

This was a choice of many attractive rooms with gorgeous guilts for bed covers. Very bright, cheerful rooms. Very Reasonable rate. Good view. The sheets were luxurious, so smooth. WiFi is open. Quiet room heater, it was 11 degrees this morning. Thank goodness there was heat inside. Waterfront property, lovely trees, shrubbery, hostas, and a big lawn in Newfoundland. Twenty...

McClellan Inn is just 30 minutes from the ferry tucked away in a quiet serene country side. Gerald provided excellent driving directions from the ferry terminal so it was easy to find even in the dark. The common area is cozy and comfy. The rooms are large with comfortable beds adorned with beautiful hand made quilts by Marie. Breakfast was...

Gerald and Marie's Maclellan Inn is a great place to stay. They are very welcoming and the B&B is very clean and comfortable and quiet. Chef Gerald looks after the delicious breakfasts and likes to chat with guests. He offered great advice on local places to visit. We stayed on two separate occasions in July and enjoyed both visits. We...

We stayed at the MacLellan Inn during a trip to the Codroy Valley for a family wedding. Our room on the second floor at the rear of the property overlooked the Codroy River and the mountains in the distance - a spectacular view. The room was spacious, the bed with a wacky quilt was comfortable, and the ensuite shower had...

Only 30 minutes away from the ferry but a world away in atmosphere. Lovely views over the lake towards mountains as opposed to the parking you would get in Port aux Basques. The Inn is recently renovated and the host cooks up a pretty good breakfast.
