Great place. Stopped on our way through Nebraska. Appears to be newly updated. Beds were very comfortable and room was quiet. Staff was very friendly. Nice large parking lot if you’re traveling with a trailer. Quiet and convenient location.
Excellent service very clean and super friendly staff. We had a great stay and it is so nice to find a place like this when on a long haul and needing to be able to relax in a very comfortable place. Very neat and organized as well.
We completed a 200 mile bike ride on the Cowboy trail and stayed at the New Victorian Inn that night. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the comfortable beds. The hotel manager was very helpful and friendly. He even moved things a out of the maintenance shed so that we could put our bikes in a locked space. The hotel is located near the Cowboy trail and a beautiful park.
My husband and I had a funeral to attend in the Norfolk area. They have a bereavemen rate which was nice. The hotel staff was very friendly when we arrived on Sunday evening and throughout our stay. The room was extremely nice and very comfortable. The only disapointing thing with this stay is they had a grab and go breakfast bag which included groanola bar, breakfast snack item, and bottle of water. I would recommend a bottle of juice over a water. There was also coffee available in the lobby.
My family and I stayed at the New Victorian Inn in Norfolk, NE for one night (with our pet). We felt like we needed a shower (elsewhere) upon leaving, for the following reasons: Our room smelled. The carpet was terribly stained. The bathroom ceiling tiles were gross. The faucets on the tub and sink were corroded. The floor in the bathroom had stains. We did not sleep under the bedding, it looked as though it had not been washed. The emergency sprinkler was dangling from the ceiling. The check-in staff was unfriendly.
Great place to stop in the family road trip. The weather outside was frightful but the room was very warm and cozy. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The price was very reasonable. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
My family of 3 stayed in a larger room with a king bed and sofa-sleeper. It was clean. The showers are heated electrically and it took a little time to get the temperature adjusted correctly. It would be nice if the shower equipment was cleaned better. Water spots/calcium build-up impeded the water from flowing as freely as I would like. The hotel is very close to considerable train traffic. The night were not too bad. But we stayed there over a holiday. I do not know if the train traffic would be more bothersome if it were not a holiday. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I did ask at the desk for an extra bar of soap and was charged for it. That seemed unusual. However, on our next trip to Norfolk, we will most likely stay there again.
I will admit, this was a last minute stop for the evening. I saw the sign for this "new" hotel and decided to try it out. There were no standard rooms available, in fact the only one was the Executive Suite. So being worn out, I agreed for the obvious higher price. Opened the door and even said to myself... "Executive? For what?" The room was maybe slightly larger than an average hotel room and had a King bed in view and a queen bed tucked in an alcove to the side, with just enough room to get around it. There was also some minor other furnishings to complete the look. No carpeting of any kind, no coffee maker and a bathroom with shower smaller than my old apartment. If this was indeed their Best room, I would have hated to see the others, The only take away that rings the overall to an average was the night clerk. Very friendly, polite, professional and seemed to have a genuine desire to help. But not enough for another visit.…
I was looking for a place to stay the night because of the weather. I had two cats with me but it turns out that while it is pet-friendly, it is not cat-friendly. At least the person at the desk could give me some recommendations for other places to stay.
