The room was very large and the beds were big and nice but not as soft as I like them.

No bath tub, just large showers. Our lights by the bed didn't work maintance came up and found they weren't plugged in. The tv turner wouldn't change channels. They had to move the tv away from the wall to make direct tv to work. The help checking in were so nice and helpful. The casino was so smoked that we didn't play very much and the machines were very tight.

Most American travelers are consumed with getting from one place to another in the shortest amount of time. Interstate this or interstate that, they get a rinse and repeat view of the continental US. Please take some state highways and see what's out there beyond the chain hotels and restaurants! Off of my soap box and on to the review!

Several buddies of mine and I stayed here on our way to Rapid City. Very new place. Rooms were clean and moderately priced. Didn't see the golf course up close but it looked good from a distance.

Smallish casino with a variety of slot machines. No table games yet. I'm assuming they will add them later?

Buffet was just so-so. Salad bar was ok. Some of us got the prime rib special while others got burgers. Burgers appeared to be the winners.

Bar has several TVs so you could watch sports and different sports (like baseball and soccer at the same time).

Small band venue on one end of the casino. Probably seats 200 people?

Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we knew of all the various discounts we could take advantage of.

Rooms were very nice, not huge, but modernly appointed.

I'd definitely go back.

Room Tip: Only two floors of rooms, but the ones on the far south end would probably be the quietest.

We went mainly for the scheduled entertainment - Surfin Safari, a 50s/60s oldies band out of Sioux Falls, SD. Music was great. We also enjoyed the casino and food. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed in this casino. Only 1 small "cafe" open. No alcohol in rooms.
Gaming floor not open til 10 a.m.
Did not have to wear a mask, which was nice. They do take your temp when entering casino.
Help was very pleasant. Beds were comfy.

There isn't a clear sign that says that the hotel and casino are connected. You walk through the doors and you become worried you went into the wrong doors. I had my 1.5 year old so when we walked in saw the casino machines 3 feet away and tons of smoke we walked right back out. I asked someone standing outside if there was a front desk for the hotel and if I was at the right door. He said look to your right and the desk should be for the hotel. So yes, you have to walk into a horrible smokey place to check in and of course the kids were attracted to the machines and were running around. The night patrol told us we needed to keep our kids away from the machines I laughed in my head and thought good luck! Who puts a front desk in a main casino? Made utterly no sense. The front desk though was nice and gave us a discount for players card for our room. Saved us About 8 dollars and the sales tax there was only 6%. The next morning we went to the breakfast buffet. There was no one there to help us. We finally found someone and grabbed a plate and the food was horrible. I find we are easy to please how hard is it to fix powdered eggs? They ended up charging us for our kids 1.5 and 3 half price which they drank water and my son had jello. RIPOFF! $25 for a plate of horrible food that we ended up eating. Didn't gamble at the casino there isn't any tables only slots.

Hotel was clean, casino clean.... but nothing out of the ordinary.
If you are looking for a quiet, non eventful weekend, this is your place. If you want to gamble all night... go for it, but the be prepared that the "lounge" closes at midnight. BE CAREFUL to not carry your alcoholic beverage to your room... the "ching ching" of bells will not be your slot machine but a hefty $200 fine. NO ALCHOL in your rooms...if a bottle cap, a can, or any evidence of alcohol, you WILL be fined.
Rumors were... "family issue so that's how the hotel is run" and we heard directly from an employees mouth..."we are trying to teach the kids..." about better behaviors - that's why no alcohol in the rooms...1. how many kids check into your hotel and gamble? 2. should kids be gambling? it clearly states no one under 21.... if you wish to have a kid friendly atmosphere, don't build a casino... build a Chuck E. Cheese.

one additional important item: if you receive any promo dollars on your card do not put all of your money into your first machine or you are STUCK there until your promo dollars are spent. I recommend transferring a small about at a time to be sure you can switch from a losing machine to another and continue to use your promo $.

Traveling with family in this part of NE gives one few options to sit and have lunch.
We stopped for sandwiches and surprised! My wife's and mother in law loved their pattie melt! Good Jack Daniel burger!

Although we have stayed at the hotel previously and I highly recommend it, this visit was a quick stop for lunch and a little slot play. I'm usually a little disappointed with the fact that the times that the buffet is running seem to be severely limited, but a quick look around on Saturday afternoon tells me that there isn't enough of a crowd to justify opening the buffet, bad news, no buffet, good news, choice of machines to play. Ordering off the menu keeps one from starvation, and gives you just enough energy to keep gambling. Value however is very good.

We were very comfortable staying here. Our room had newer and higher end furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. Best of all, even though we stayed there on a Saturday night, the room was quiet, and we had a peaceful sleep. Although the main reason we were there was for lodging, we noted that the casino seemed quite busy; lots of slot machines and other activities. We enjoyed the beautiful murals in the lobby depicting historical Indian leaders and life. The small restaurant had a limited menu, although there was a good breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. We would definitely stay there again.

I do business in the Niobrara area several times a year and this is by far the nicest hotel in the area. The hotel (and this casino) has only been open for about a year and the lobby and casino is clean and new looking. I stayed here twice this fall - once in September and once in October, and had a pleasant stay each trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room had comfortable bed and great shower. I usually eat on site as there are limited food options in Niobrara. There are lunch and dinner specials that come with a soup, salad and dessert bar. The soups are good - the chili is excellent. In addition to the special, there is a small menu with burgers and other options. All in all a nice place to stay. The 18 hole golf course should be opening in 2015.

I don't recall exactly how much the charge was but it certainly wasn't out of line for a nice hotel room.
