Traveling with family in this part of NE gives one few options to sit and have lunch. We stopped for sandwiches and surprised! My wife's and mother in law loved their pattie melt! Good Jack Daniel burger!
Our stay was so refreshing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The beds were perfectly firm. The rooms were meticulously clean. The walk-in glass showers were luxurious. Even the soaps and lotions were enticingly fragrant. Each room had an extra blanket plus a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and multiple plugins easy to reach! We got the stay and play deal with extra money for the casino and meal credits to make the yummy breakfast buffet that started at 8:30 almost free. There was a talented band playing outside in the cool evening on the patio and big screen football going on in the main room on Saturday night. It had something for everyone to do especially those in our group who weren't big on gambling. Some casinos are smoky, but this one must have had good ventilation because it wasn't too bad. Such a reasonable price for a weekend getaway. To add to the fun, the gas station next door had cheap gas prices!…
I am reviewing the hotel only. I didn't gamble nor eat there. I got caught out on the highway in SD late at night and could not find a room anywhere. One of the places I called suggested I try this place. i called and they had a room .... it was far out of my way but I was desperate. After a very late night detour I arrived there past midnight. Place looked a bit sketchy from the parking lot but I went in anyway. What a surprise. Staff could not have nicer. The room was spacious, clean and quiet.
Very clean gambling area friendly help. Looks like a very nice hotel, indoor pool, and sauna. Food was ok nice salad bar. Up to date machines but no tables. Gas station next door has really cheap fuel prices and smokes.
The rooms were like a cheap motel. That said, they were clean. The food buffet was horrible. There is no live gambling. Everything is machines. We only went for the golf course, which was okay, but could be so much better if they had yardage markers you could read, port-a-potties, and water stations on the course that still did not have soap in them. Plus, I don’t like paying $4 for a hotdog at the turn.
