I stayed in the Mount Emerald Room, Room #7, on the third floor of The Rogers House February 4-9, 2017. My connecting flight was cancelled and I arrived 6 hours later than originally planned, but the people at Rogers House were very accommodating. I was in Lincoln for a fisheries conference in which the talks began each morning at 8...

The innkeeper is truly a special lady. The breakfasts are very good and the area is nice and pretty quiet. Yet, our bed was falling apart, the electric is old (too few two-prong outlets), and there was a small common room with a very dirty microwave in an un-kept room.

What a lovely, historic, classic place to spend a night! I will most definitely return and look forward to the next visit. Rogers House is a lost art form - the accomodations were understated, unaffected vintage. Nora is an excellent host. Our breakfast was simple and tasty. Everything was done to make our stay wonderful. Don't miss this very special...

We hadn't stayed at Rogers House for several years, and were pleasantly surprised to learn that it maintains its charm. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable (if a little run-down in the corners). The hosts were gracious and helpful, and the breakfast, served in a sunroom that makes you feel you are outdoors, was delicious.

I stayed for longer than expected when I ran into car problems, and: the staff could not have been better, the house is awesome, and breakfast was always great! The location is in a quiet neigborhood that is historic and friendly A+

We took a last minute trip to Omaha NE and little did we know that it was little league World Series weekend when we went! As we called around on our drive up, EVERYTHING in Omaha was booked! So we turned towards Lincoln! The Rogers House had ONE room left, which they weren't going to book because the hot water...

Rogers House is a well organized bed and breakfast in a lovely, well kept two story older house. The staff (especially Nora) is unbeatable for remembering return guests (after 1 year +) and gives great attention to providing a fine breakfast, peaceful ambience, lovely fresh linens and continual, gentle hospitality. I have enjoyed Rogers House 3 times and already look...

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much! Very quiet and peaceful there. It was like being at home, only better! A good night's sleep in a comfortable bed and delicious breakfast in the morning. Being a history nerd, I loved the historic feel to it. Check out this place if ever in Lincoln, NE and you're looking for...

Wonderful, historic home with amazing inn keepers and food. Nora is extremely welcoming and has a passion for what she does. The rooms aren't perfect but they ooze with charm and homeliness. If you get the opportunity to stay in the bankers suite it is well worth it.

We were in town for a football game so it's nice to stay at a bed and breakfast that doesn't raise their rates like all the hotels do (we were looking at around $300 per night) compared to the $119 we paid for our room (we stayed two nights so it was quite the savings). This truly is a "bed"...
