I was in town with 2 of my sons for the College World Series. The rooms weren't cheap, but were clean and staff very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was average. A coffee pot in lobby would be a big plus to me. I would recommend this hotel based on their friendliness.
Beautiful room. I’d recommend to anyone. Large conference hotel totally renovated two years ago. Very amiable staff. Very glad we picked this place—and conveniently right on I-80. Will stay here on next trip through Omaha.
I was not very impressed with this motel, particularly at the price point. The bathroom floor was not clean and there were sunflower seeds (in the shell) on the carpet by the bed. The hot water was just warm, not just once, but through a multiple day stay. There was no housekeeping, which has been a thing some places during covid. but they didn't tell us there would not be housekeeping or what to do if we needed clean towels. There was a desk chair and just one plush chair, which was not at all comfortable. The mini refrigerator was particularly tiny and did not have a freezer compartment. They gave tickets for breakfast. When we came down in the morning looking for the breakfast, we we wandering around with other guests who were also looking for the breakfast. Turns out it was at the Embassy Suites on the other side of the convention center. It would have been nice if they told us. It was a pretty good breakfast. If I attended another event at the convention center, I would stay at the Embassy Suites.…
My company is based in Omaha and I love this hotel. Close to our facility and easy to get to. Plenty of parking, great spacious front desk area, and always exceptional customer service to great you. Clean throughout the entire hotel. Room is comfortable and has all you need. They opened a bar in the hotel and it also connects to the convention center and the Embassy hotel so you have plenty of options without leaving the hotel. Restaurants close by if you want to grab a bite. Great gym also in the facility. I look forward to my next visit.
The hotel is very lively and our room was clean and well decorated. When we arrived there was a lot of families with children and upon asking we found out that there is a lot of tournaments going on in the area. We were a little concern that it woukd be noisy but we had a wonderful night and slept great. Our only disappointment was the hotel does not include breakfast.
Conveniently located for conferences held at the La Vista Conference Center. Kevin and Mindy of the hotel staff were very welcoming, efficient and informative. The amenities were good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Hotel is in easy to find location with plenty of parking and close to many stores and restaurants. Very spacious and well appointed lobby for check in. Check in sold me on the hotel because Sam who checked us in was absolutely fantastic. Great personality, friendly, informative and obviously someone who cares about her job and providing exceptional customer service and that more than anything is what matters most to creating a great experience no matter what industry you are in. The hotel was very clean throughout. Room was standard size but clean and stocked with all the necessities. The only drawback, and its not just this hotel is, it is time to start servicing the rooms daily and move away from some of the pandemic driving protocols at this time. And for those who are religious, start placing Bibles back in the room. If you can touch a remote, then the Bible shouldnt be treated any differently and should be back in drawers in all hotels. Also this is one of the only Courtyards i can remember where as beautiful as it is, it does not include breakfast. That is a big miss for this location. They do however have a Starbucks on site for those who like it and on my departure, Sam the wonderful lady who checked me in was doing double duty by running the barista. Again, great service (with a smile) and her personality just makes the whole experience that much better. Great employee so i hope they know that. Look forward to my next visit…
Biggest complaint, upon arrival and check in we where informed that we would be charged a parking fee. To a city owned parking lot that several businesses share out front. They didn’t disclose when booking that a parking fee would be added to the bill. This is very dishonest. Rooms are clean service is great, not sure which Moron in management decided to scam a couple extra bucks this way but I’m not sure if it’s even legal for them to charge for parking in a lot they don’t even own. I will send a notice to the city office in La Vista. I’ll Also send a review to Marriott that we weren’t informed upon booking that this charge would be applied.
Stayed two nights during a road trip to visit Strategic Air Command. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and directed us to their outdoor patio when we asked where we could eat our take out meal. Our room was lovely with a king bed and large curved sofa and hassock and large desk. Bathroom was spacious and bright. Bathroom was also spacious and bright. Starbucks downstairs was handy though had very limited selection due to COVID I presume.
My sister and I were traveling across the country and stopped at this exit off the I 80 with many hotel choices. We chose this Marriott as our first choice so we could get points on our Marriott Bonvoy card. The lobby area was very nice when we walked in to see if there was a room available. As we approached the check in desk, there was a sign that said, “I’ve stepped away from the desk and will be back shortly”. We waited patiently for about 10 minutes and no one came. In the meantime, another lady had arrived to check in as well. Still no one came to the desk, so I started walking all around the lobby to see if ANY employee was there. Still no one. I then found the managers office, but no one there either. We then tried calling, and the phone rang at the front desk, but it said the mailbox was full and there was no one available to take the call. We then found a managers business card and tried to call that number and it simply rang to the front desk as well. Finally after about 1/2 hour, a girl came in with her bag of food from Sonic. She asked if we had a reservation and we said no, we were just checking on availability for one night and she said “we’re full”. No apology. No nothing. The parking lot was empty and there appeared to be no one at this hotel. There was no one in any of the conference rooms because I had checked them all when looking for someone to help us. She was so rude. The lady that had come in behind us said she had just called the reservation line, which was very difficult to get through, btw, and was told that this hotel DID have availability. The girl behind the desk said the reservation line isn’t up to date with their computers. This was truly a horrible experience at this hotel. I understand if a hotel is truly completely booked, but it was obvious she was lying and simply didn’t want to wait on us. So we drove around the corner to the Hampton Inn. Not a fancy hotel or lobby, but the Service was spectacular. It was less money. The guy at the front desk was fantastic and there’s even free breakfast in the morning. So there Marriott! Who needed you anyway?…
