We were three, 67+ yrs. siblings traveling by car to visit another sibling who has terminal cancer. Desk person said it should be quiet because of Covid, people weren't traveling as usual. About an hour after settling into the room, a family with at least 2 screaming, whining kids moved int the room next to us. It was early so we turned up the tv. After 10 pm it settled down and we were able to get to sleep. However the kids woke up several times during the night. I have kids and understand the issues of traveling with youngsters. My problem is with the front desk staff, booking them next to us in a half empty hotel.
It was a quick overnight stay as I was on the road on my way back home. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and it was affordable. It's nice to get breakfast before getting back on the road. I would stay here again.
although the stay was a pleasant one, there was troubles at check-in that resulted in a delay on getting one of our rooms for this stay in a timely fashion. Also had to follow up with Wyndham Resorts Rewards to get the points associated with my membership,
Stopped here for a quick overnight on a road trip. The room was dirty, damaged, and in need of basic updates. The mattresses were questionable at best and well beyond their lifespan. The carpet was stained, the fake wood paneling was damaged, the toilet seat was missing hinge covers, the bathtub nozzle was crooked, the shower nozzle was dirty, the toiletries looked old... the list goes on and on. Their WiFi did not work well. After I connected to it, I rarely had full signal. Even their little WiFi instructional page was beaten up and in need of replacing. So much of what I saw could have been easily fixed, and it was clear that no one could be bothered to do so. Staff was friendly but not always wearing masks. Staff did not enforce mask wearing for patrons walking around the lobby. Tables in the small breakfast area were very close to the food, making it impossible to get breakfast without being too close to seated guests (who were understandably massless because they were eating). It was stressful enough to have to travel and worry about COVID, I didn’t need the added feeling of gross left by this hotel. I am very surprised that Wyndham allows their brand to be represented in this way. Wyndham should look into updating or closing this location.…
Reading some recent reviews, I don't think these people stayed in the same hotel I just did last weekend. From the moment I arrived, it was quiet and the staff was super friendly. I did not hear noisy neighbors or yeehaw, I did not smell smoke anywhere in the hotel, the rooms were very clean and did not smell "rank". I'm not sure what "deadly virus" another reviewer was referring to, maybe they were expecting to stay at the Hilton? I had an amazing nights sleep in the comfortable room and SUPER comfy bed! My fridge was turned up too high so my bottled water froze, but oh well. It melted just as easily. The elevator did make a weird grinding noise just as I got up to 3rd floor. But that didn't stop me from using it. The whole place was very impressive. I have already booked a 3 night stay in October. Can't wait to stay again!…
