A peaceful place to stay with remarkable breakfasts. 2nd floor bedrooms in this converted school open out into the canopies of large, surrounding trees. Take a short detour off of the mind-numbing I-80 and spend an evening here. You won't regret it.

This is definitely a five star gem located in imperial Nebraska. The house is just beautiful as well as the room I stayed in, the Santa Fe. I loved reading about the history in the hallway, Linda was absolutely amazing and friendly. Breakfast in the morning was provided and made by the owner and she did a fantastic job. It really did have the feel of like you being home but at the same time being spoiled at a hotel. 1000% would recommend. Thank you to the hospitality and kindness!

Everything that it is said to be; spacious, comfortable, quiet. Really enjoyed our time here. Stayed in the "Romantic Getaway" and looked at all four other rooms when touring the place at check-in. Would highly recommend it to anyone, a really great value for the price. It's what a B&B should be!

By far the top accommodation in Imperial. The inn is centrally located, beautifully designed; service is excellent and the breakfast is truly delicious! We have stayed several times. Family members recommended it and stay there, as well. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The hosts are really nice people.

Room Tip: The nearby Sweden Cream restaurant is a small diner that does a good job and is also worth a visit.

I am from Napa Valley so Bed & Breakfasts are the accommodation of the day in my area. The truth is, I would take the standards set by the Balcony House over virtually any of the B&Bs in Napa. The rooms are very high quality and the beds are genuinely comfortable - exceptional standards of cleanliness - and the hospitality is superb. I was especially impressed with the new carpeting in the room and the Pella windows were genuinely world-class - very high quality for both noise reduction and the ability to control the blinds. I have honestly never experienced better windows. I will truly cherish the memory of the beautiful breakfast made for me in the morning for many years. The flavors of the pecan syrup and the exceptional eggs in the ramekin were truly some of the best I've ever experienced. The innkeepers are warm and welcoming - and also allowed all the guests to enjoy their own experiences without feeling that we were being 'tended to' (which I think is an ideal for B&B interaction. It felt like the house was truly 'ours' and it was so comfortable and quiet and relaxing. I believe this is the finest accommodations in all of Western Nebraska (and Eastern Colorado for that matter). If you can include this stop in Imperial in your travels, I highly recommend you add the Balcony House to your trip. It is well worth the stop and will remain a fond memory. Even if you're traveling as a family, the Balcony House has accommodations that are ideal for multi-generations (very unusual for B&Bs that are rarely children-friendly). Thank you for the memorable and meaningful stay.

Best place to stay in Imperial. Every time we go back we try and stay there. If you don't get your reservation in early enough for popular days/times, they will be full. It has happened to us. The work they put in to renovate this old building is amazing. My grandparents use to live across the street from here when I was growing up so I spent a lot of time there. Breakfast is great and they are very accommodating for diets. It's is our go to place to stay in Imperial.

Jim and Linda Pirog have created the most welcoming, peaceful, and comfortable accommodations in their highly rated Balcony House B&B. I cannot say enough good things about this B&B. Each year my husband and I are repeat guests at a few B&B's on the east coast (USA) and in the UK. Now we have a new B&B to add to the list! circumstances were a bit different this time as I was traveling with a dear friend and her 10 year old daughter. We were exhausted beyond measure when we arrived. Linda immediately made us feel like friends of the family as we settled into the charmingly decorated Sunflower Suite. Fresh homemade cookies in a separate guests' kitchen plus all manner of complimentary beverages are a nice touch. We all slept very well. My friend's ten year old daughter pronounced the tub Jacuzzi to be awesome. The breakfast, accommodating food allergies and preferences, was outstanding. I completely understand why so many of the guests return each year to this memorable and wonderful B&B.

We have stayed twice at the Balcony House and both times were wonderful. I highly recommend checking them out as they have several different room types and prices. At first, I thought they were pricey for SW NE but after staying one night at the Super 8 for almost the same rate, I certainly changed my mind. When you add in the cost of breakfast at a local restaruart, you find the Balcony House your best choice to make a great memory of Imperial!

I enjoyed the stay very much. The themes the rooms had was unique and it had great decorations. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Let's not forget about the history of that place. The hosts were very welcoming. I will stay there anytime I am around there from now on.

I visit Imperial quite frequently. The Balcony House is my go to for staying. I usually try and get one of the two smaller rooms which both have one full size bed and one twin. Perfect for my son and I. Rooms are clean, neat and decorated in the usual B&B style. Breakfast in the mornings cooked by the owners is always a treat. They get a booster chair out for my son and make him feel welcome. The usual things about an old house apply here. Thin walls, creaky floors, etc. Just part of the charm.

Ms. Kidd, Trip Advisor has sent your inquiry to me, since I reviewed Balcony House. I, of course, have no way of knowing the availability of Balcony House rooms. Nor am I sure that Trip Advisor acts as a booking agent for them. I'd suggest that you google Balcony House, Imperial, NE, find the phone, and call. You'll find them delightful people and the place just wonderful. jfb
