My boyfriend and I traveled here in May 2016, very easy to find and only steps away from the beautiful Mondello beach. The airport had lost our luggage and we are Canadians that only speak english therefore had a very difficult time communicating with anyone there but as soon as we arrived to Al Baglio, the woman waiting for us...

For your stay in Mondello, I highly recommend Al Baglio. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, right from the start. From the lady who checked us in, and took us down to our apartment in the square nearby, to the guy serving us cappuccinos at breakfast, the lady who cleaned our apartment, plus the very nice owner, everyone left...

They were very comfortable with a lounge and dining table in a quiet street. The decor was modern and the apartment was very clean. We had breakfast...

I found the beds to be very firm and uncomfortable for me. I had to use a cushion I found on the bench in our room to slide under my sheets so that my back did not hurt in the morning. This seems somewhat typical of Italian hotels though since our previous hotel seemed to have the same mattress. The...

“We occupied No. 24 which was a triple room with a big double bed and single bed. On this side of the building the sun shines all day from morning to evening, so remember to close the windows and draw the curtains to keep room cooler although there is air con. We did not see any of the other rooms but I believe there are quite a variety of different types.”
