The room had too much furniture for the size. Very hard to move around esp with some luggage. Difficult to put the luggage in the bedrooms as the beds filled the room. Service-ok. Parking is good as it is available at the unit.

If you are travelling in Borgarfjordur or there around I truly recommend stopping by at Hverinn for a bite, soup or a drink. The home made soups are excellent, all made from fresh and locally grown vegetable. The campsite is also great. A perfect place for groups or family gathering. In the windy or rainy days the hobbit house is the best campsite option you can find, originally a green house but now provided as an option to camp under a roof / shelter 😊 Don't miss a good place to stay

Not welcoming. Stopped with a small tour, for early dinner, many of us didn't order food, waiting to go back to Reykjavik. Sign in English stated 'No food no free WC'. It requires 150 krona or 1 euro to use facilities. Too bad didn't take a picture of the sign inside.

My husband and I were traveling with friends who wanted to camp and we wanted to have a place of our own. We loved the two bedroom flat and out friends were blown away by camping in the green houses. We had the 2 bedroom flat and it was fantastic nice beds, trippy living room where we all played cards and relaxed. Lovely kitchen with an outstanding tea collection. A must stop if you are heading that way.
