ere comes a gushing and genuine review. What an incredible place, Johan and Marcel are the best hosts you could wish for. They are warm and welcoming, the love and care they put into their place is evident in every detail. The decor is fabulous, Marcels food is amazing, they are easy going, relaxed and really great fun. We arrived with an injured dog who had just been prescribed total rest and strictly no exercise. They insisted it was no trouble to keep him with them while we went in our day time adventures and it was like we’d checked him into a wellness retreat. We even started to worry he’d apply to stay permanently. The location is just as fabulous with stunning scenery. The walk to the beach through Johan’s luscious garden is so colourful and incredibly fragrant. The beach is hauntingly beautiful with a very magical light. So many wonderful day trips to have: kayaking, hiking and biking. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there, it was a complete unanimous thumbs up from us, the teenagers and the dog. We feel very privileged for such a treat.

this is one of the most unique places we ever visited: starting with the overwhelming hospitality of johan and marcel, enjyoing the faboulous dinner prepared by marcel, drinking your evening coffee /tea / ... in the outlook window facing the sea, the freshly prepared breakfast - fabiolous! the rooms and the whole building are filled with design and fancy items from antique stores and flew markets. we enjoyed all of this, and also the common breakfast and also dinner (in case you book it) with the other guests.

A unique B&B in a fantastic location. A beautifully renovated box factory with a tasteful design interior. You can walk straight into the sea through the beautiful garden. The extensive breakfast with the colorfully laid table, the delicious fish dinners, the interaction with the other guests, it was really enjoyable. Marcel and Johan are very hospitable. Their advice to visit the island of Käringön was a bull's eye. We had warm summer weather, so the boat trip and dip in the sea were wonderful. The picturesque fishing village of Mollösund is also worth a visit.

We had the great opportunity to be invited to Lådfabriken for a birthday party. The place is so unique. It is like spending time in someone’s fantastic and superbly designed home. Johan greeted us like a friend at the door. He and Marcel were always around, working with stuff and attending to our needs simultaneously. The place as a very refined yet extremely relaxed wine to it.
We had a fantastic shell fish dinner with the most exquisite cray fish, crabs and shrimps. The best and the freshest I have ever tasted. The breakfast was an experience in itself. Thank you for a wonderful and surprising stay.

This wonderful boutique B&B is one in a million! The hospitality of Johan's and Marcel's is second to none! To celebrate my 60th birthday together with my wife here was the best present ever! And the food is worth a short story in itself! Best prepared cod I've had in ages! Top notch! ❤️

We had a great stay at this B&B. Not enough superlatives to describe it! The hosts are super-welcoming and friendly, and you have a real sense that they care for their guests. The breakfast and dinner were the best we have had in Sweden, with the freshest of ingredients. Finally the accommodation was appealing, interesting and comfortable, with a short walk down the garden to the sea. We loved our stay and were sorry to move on - thanks Johann and Marcel for looking after us!

A really stylish place. And a really, really friendly place. A place with the most interesting and beautiful breakfast you will eat. And even better dinners. A place of fun. Of huge hospitality. And amazing quality in the building, the rooms and the fixtures and fittings. And with an awesome design aesthetic. If you don't love it here there is little hope for you.

Where to start. Hardly ever have we stayed stayed at such a special place. This B&B has a boutique feel with stunning sea views that change every minute. Thoroughly enjoyed the activities that the Lådfabriken offers, to experience this pure coastal area with its numerous little islands. It was great seakayaking and mountain biking. Long walks, big birds. Lofty, ecofriendly design makes you feel connected to the landscape. Choice of materials and lively colors complement the more traditional environment. Excellent hosts who know how to give the each guest the space they need and serve a breakfast (best ever!) with fresh products from the area. Local people are superfriendly. Staying here was a real treat.
