Good Medicine Lodge is a truly excellent place to stay in the Whitefish and Glacier Nat'l Park area. We traveled with another couple and stayed three nights, and could not have been happier with our choice. Ryan and Sara are gracious, thoughtful hosts, and love what they are doing. Fresh baked cookies, full beverage bar with multiple choices of hot and cold drinks, very comfortable beds and quiet rooms, thoughtful touches like pitchers of ice water in the room. You will be hard pressed to find a more delicious breakfasts anywhere! Ryan makes his own sourdough breads, and roasts his own coffee. What these hosts are doing is above and beyond the norm, and it was a pleasure to experience their dedication and hospitality. Adding to the wonderfulness: there is a fabulous Mexican restaurant just across the street, and the Bonsai Brew pub right next door. Thank you Ryan and Sara, we will definitely return in the spring or summer for mountain biking!

We stayed at Good Medicine for 6?days while in White Fish close enough to explore Glacier National Park. Our stay was magnificent. We met so many nice couples who we sat with each evening chatting over a glass of wine or in the TV room and at breakfast. Sarah and Ryan certainly make this place extra special and I can see why it is on the Select Registry. The breakfasts were so delicious, very filling and such a delight to the eye. I enjoyed chatting with both the innkeepers daily, and learned about bread making, coffee roasting, some great local restaurants and fun things to do nearby. I would love to return in the near future.

We stayed in the Black Bear Room for 2 nights. I only wish we had stayed here for longer. Ryan and Sara are super friendly and helpful. It was our anniversary and a chilled bottle of prosecco awaited us in the room! The breakfasts were tasty and the daily cookies were scrumptious. There is free laundry on site and just so many unexpected amenities. I didn't bring a bathing suit for the hot tub and Ryan pulled out several clean loaners for me to choose from. They had great hiking and dining suggestions as well. This is a MUST-STAY location. (The black bear room was a really great location - upstairs with a balcony overlooking the landscaped yard.)

Room Tip: All rooms would be fine, but I really liked the location of the 4 upstairs rooms the best.

Our four night anniversary celebration at Good Medicine was phenomenal! We chose the Big Horn room which has a comfortable king bed, plenty of storage space and a lovely outdoor deck. It is located near the back of the lodge, so it is peaceful and conducive to a great night's sleep. The common rooms are warm, inviting and beautifully furnished. The entire lodge is immaculately clean. Sara and Ryan are the consummate hosts, and they have thought of everything to ensure that guests have a memorable stay. From the personal greeting and tour, to the afternoon appetizers, fresh baked cookies, coffee bar and complimentary wine you will not desire anything more. Breakfasts are excellent and creative with your choice of savory or sweet each day. Ryan's homemade sourdough bread and freshly roasted coffee are the stars of the show. The entire staff is courteous, professional and gracious. Sara and Ryan are constantly engaging with the guests, and we felt valued during our stay. They were extremely helpful in answering our questions about the area and Glacier National, and we appreciated their insights as we planned each day's activities. They have mastered the art of being innkeepers. We have stayed at numerous B&Bs throughout our travels, and they are always our first choice when seeking accommodations. Good Medicine Lodge is one of the best we have encountered throughout the years. Book your stay here, and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Sara & Ryan for providing us with such terrific memories of our Montana vacation!

This is hands down the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at. Gorgeous accommodations and the food is fantastic. Seriously everything about this place from the moment you pull in is excellent - you will not regret staying here. It’s also super convenient for visiting Glacier National Park and whitefish. Sarah & Ryan (and the rest of the staff) are wonderful. We stayed in the Mountain View room and it did not disappoint. I would 200% recommend this place to anyone visiting Montana or glacier national park. My boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back.
