We stayed at the GML while visiting Glacier National park. It was a wonderful experience. This is more than just a B&B, it is more like a rustic boutique hotel. The staff is wonderful, chipper and helpful. Of note is Shayla, the Innkeeper, who was most helpful with excellent advice about routes to take, timing of visits and other advice, as well as making us feel welcome and cared for. Riana served wonderful breakfast selections and worked the breakfast room checking every table, and Meghan(with whom we interacted less) was also wonderful. Breakfast is excellent. Every evening there is charcuterie and cookies, as well as beverages available. In fact, beverages and snacks are available at all times.

The room was ample, comfortable and well appointed. it faced a beautiful patio and has a veranda where one could sit and rock the cares away. We did not use the hot tub, also available in the common deck.

The lodge is a wooden structure, very pretty and has a very comfortable and welcoming lobby and a tv room. The lodge also has a laundry room for guests(including a receptacle with quarters for the guests to use to work the washer and drier!).

Location is great across a bridge from town, essentially one to two minutes from the center of town.

We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this place greatly. It had changed ownership about 2 weeks before our arrival. We hope that new ownership will keep the staff and the business culture of the place.

We selected this spot for our family vacation solely off of the reviews here. It exceeded our expectations! I cannot say enough about the hospitality and the FOOD. Ryan and Sarah were so welcoming and helpful. You could tell they love what they do. You don't see service like this very often. The food was outstanding and such a treat every morning, There were 2 breakfast options each day and the kids loved that there was also a "kid" option each day. I would wake up each morning and enjoy their own roasted coffee and pastry or their homemade sourdough.
Such a treat! The cookies were some of the best we've had. In fact, my daughter asked for some of the recipes and Ryan told her they are working on a cookbook. We will be the first to sign up! The property was well decorated, nice linens, very clean with thoughtful touches throughout. Our first day, we needed a cooler, a knife for some cheese we bought and some bear spray to take to Glacier. They had all of that for us to borrow. Sometimes the little things make the biggest difference, Traveling with a family of 5 there is always lots of laundry which we were able to do everyday. The machines took quarters which they provided for us. We booked kind of late in the season so we had move rooms a couple of times. They made it so seamless and actually was kind of enjoyable to get to check out all the property had to offer. The Glacier Suite was great, on the ground floor with our own little side year. Probably our favorite, We also loved the Great Northern Suite, second floor with 2 bathrooms and the decor was really cool. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Our kids said it was their favorite hotel they've ever stayed in and we agree! We'll be back.

My wife and I stayed at Good Medicine Lodge for two nights in the Huckleberry Suite. The bed was very comfortable and the views from our balcony superb, we overlooked the garden and the surrounding mountainside. Ryan met us, took our temperatures, then showed us around and helped us carry our bags to our room. The entire place, common areas and our suite were very clean and all guests and staff always wore masks inside and adhered to Covid restrictions. A tasty well-balanced breakfast is served to you each morning, there are always two entree options, fresh home baked sourdough bread hot from the dutch oven in the kitchen, juices, coffee and a pastry of the day. A very pleasant treat in the afternoon are the cookies and appetizer with wine and beer. The B&B is in Whitefish and was a very convenient location for us because we were only 25 minutes from Glacier National Park. It was a wonderful, restful and relaxing time. Thank you to both Ryan and Sara for their warm, friendly and outstanding service and beautiful Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your place and will definitely return next we are in Whitefish.

It has been a while since I’ve stayed at a B&B. Wow! Good Medicine Lodge rolls out 5-star hotel accommodations all within the charm of a B&B. Loved the luxurious Huckleberry suite, gourmet breakfast changing each day, on-site fresh roasted coffees OMG, afternoon appetizers, and overall warm retreat. Truly a professionally run B&B unlike others I’ve experienced! Ryan and Sarah are the ever-helpful consummate hosts sensitive to your requests and at the same time your privacy. This is an experience not to be missed when visiting Whitefish MT.

We just completed a great 5-night stay at Good Medicine Lodge. It looks unassuming from the front, but the inside has cozy Western decor, warm common areas, and very comfortable rooms. Our young daughter was fascinated by exploring the place and a big fan of the kid-friendly breakfasts they prepared just for her. We stayed in the Great Northern suite, which was immaculate and quiet. Highly recommend.

I travel quite a lot, and this is one of the best and coziest inns I have ever had the privilege of staying in. My friend and I stopped here for a night before our camping trip into Glacier, and we could not have picked a better spot. The details made all the difference: Sara met us at the door and gave us a tour of the building and its amenities, we were welcomed with fresh ice water in the room (exceptionally welcome in the heat) and glasses of wine and appetizers to enjoy in the common spaces, and the owners have delicious house made snacks available to guests all day long. We left for Glacier around 5am, and the owners were kind enough to pack delicious and filling brown bag breakfasts the evening before that we could take with us.

The inn is extremely clean and cozy. They supply local soaps and personal care products from Whitefish. There were even bookmarks available for us in the room! Downtown Whitefish is a quick 15 minute walk on sidewalks, and we were able to enjoy the city in the evening. All around we couldn't have found a better spot to stay. I have never written a Trip Advisor review before, but Good Medicine Lodge was so exceptional that we wanted to thank Sara and the staff for all of their work. Heartily recommended, and we will be back if we are ever in town!

Ryan and Sara along with their staff are just amazing! Attention to detail is beyond expectation from specialty soaps in your room, homemade cookies each day and happy hour with apps in the afternoon. Our room was perfect for our family. A room for the parents and a room down the hall for our sons. Each morning breakfast was made specifically for us and beautifully presented, although we were already stuffed by the homemade sourdough bread and pastries! Ryan even roasts his own coffee beans! Shout out to the free SNOW bus that you can catch right outside the front door that will take you to town or to the mountain for hiking and ziplining. This was such a treat.

What a magical Christmas week with a balance of adventure and relaxation. Whitefish is one of those rare destinations where you can fly in or take the Amtrak, with no need to rent a car. Good Medicine Lodge was close enough to walk into town, and we took the free Snowbus to the mountain. We went to dinner at another lodge one night, which was also nice, but it was also really nice and a relief to go back to Good Medicine Lodge as our home base. It’s beautiful, intimate, and the team is outstanding — Shayla, Meghan and Megan. Shayla proactively handled an issue as soon as she caught wind of it, and made us comfortable, welcome, and joyful throughout our stay. Plus, the croque madame she made was my favorite meal in Montana.

The pillows are actually the fluffiest I ever felt! In fact all the accommodations were flawless. The inn-keepers are spectacular cooks. They serve wonderful breakfasts and the biggest/best salted caramel chocolate cookies (get the Cookbook.) Their coffee is absolutely to die for! (goodmedicinecoffee.com)
The Whitefish location turned out to be perfect. Convenient to the lovely downtown shops and some of the best restaurants in the Glacier Park area.
It was a restful spot and so nice to come home to after an active day in the mountains. Book your tours through Glacier Guides. (glacierguides.com)
You could not do better than to rent yourself a room at Good Medicine Lodge.

There are so many nice things I have to say about this place. It was such a sweet and calm and relaxing little retreat where we had the pleasure of spending our honeymoon in Whitefish. The owners are very involved with the every day functions and tasks at the lodge, they cook and clean with their staff and you can tell they're all probably pretty good friends, they make INCREDIBLE food, they gave us great information about Whitefish and about what trails to try when we rode at Whitefish Mountain. But even more than all of that, they made us feel at home, we were allowed to relax and spend time together celebrating being married. The space was clean and cozy and it was quiet. The bed was comfy and the sheets were high quality. They sourced a lot of what they use in the rooms and sell at their shop from locals. We were greeted with a snack and a beer when we came home from the mountain. They really take huge steps to make you feel like you're at home (but in a relaxing way). I was honestly genuinely sad to go! I'd recommend this to anyone that wants to come home from a vacation and actually feel relaxed for a change. Don't question it or second guess it, the cost is worth it, and in my opinion should probably be higher, although I appreciate that it isn't! As much as I'd love to keep this little secret for us, I think everyone should treat themselves to a stay here.
