As always, we let ourselves be guided by Trip Advisor when selecting a B&B for our recent trip to Montana. Every single review for Julie's Country Manor is 5 star, and deservedly so. While many B&Bs are in older, even historic houses, this house is modern, beautifully decorated and designed for a very comfortable stay. It is situated a short drive from Whitefish, with beautiful mountains in the distance and, if you are lucky, views of deer right outside the windows. Our room, the Veranda Room, had an enormous bathroom, with jetted tub and a separate shower. Thoughtful amenities, like a mini-fridge in the room, are provided, and the bed was very comfortable. On one of the mornings of our visit, I drank my morning coffee in the kitchen, watching Julie and Dick prepare an elaborate and delicious gourmet breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was prepared from scratch, with great attention to detail. Julie thoughtfully packed us some of her wonderful rhubarb muffins for our day trip to Glacier National Park. One of the reasons we enjoy staying at B&Bs is the chance to talk to the hosts and other guests. When we arrived, we were advised that there were no other "paying" guests, but that family members (their siblings and spouses) would be staying as well. In some situations that might seem awkward, but their families made us feel so welcomed and right at home. We really enjoyed our long conversations with them, particularly their stories about growing up in Montana. Their exceptional hospitality and kindness were really a highlight of our trip and something we will remember fondly for years to come. Both Julie and Dick are very knowledgeable about the Whitefish area, and provided us guidance for our visit to Glacier and a great restaurant recommendation. Dick also plotted out a scenic route for us to drive for our return to Spokane. We very much appreciate the wonderful TA reviews of Julie's Country Manor, which led us to book our stay here. We concur with every single compliment!

We travel all over the world and have spent time in many b & b's. Nothing compares to our experience at Julie's. Without a doubt, this is the most delightful, most delicious, most comfortable place we've ever stayed. . .and that's not even including the hosts Julie and Dick who are in a category of their own. As other reviews have said, the breakfasts are terrific! I believe Julie has a goldmine if she publishes a recipe book complete with presentation tips because she has an excellent eye for this. Thank you again, Julie and Dick, for the great stay and many excellent conversations!

Julie's Country Manor is a wonderful B & B. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the guest rooms are wonderful. We were in the Veranda room on the first floor with a 2nd door to the back porch. The other two rooms are on the 2nd floor. Our room had a California king bed, large TV, fireplace and a mini fridge. The bathroom had a nice walk in shower, two sinks and a luxurious bathtub complete with pillow. During our stay all three rooms were occupied. We all ate breakfast at the same time in the morning tho I believe Julie and Dick would accommodate those who wished to eat at a different time. Breakfasts were unbelievable! Bowl of fresh fruit, egg stuffed poblanos, sausage, apple- rhubarb muffins was one morning. The other morning consisted of fresh fruit, cream cheese and fruit stuffed French toast, scrambled egg and sausage. Actually way more than mere mortals could eat. Tho all of us made a valiant effort. Julie wrapped up some of my French toast for me and I ate it later in the morning one day. White-tailed deer and wild turkeys visit on the lawn at various times of the day. The country lane that Julie's is located on could be a nice walk tho we were always hurrying off to Glacier NP. Julie lent us some bear spray which we did not have to use, thankfully! Be prepared to remove shoes in the front hallway before continuing on into the house.

Outstanding ! Julie and Dick made us feel like family . The house is gorgeous and very well kept up . The area it is in is like a post card with deer and turkey's everywhere. The breakfast every morning was unbelievable ! More then you can eat and all was delicious. They even have a media room and served us buttered popcorn while we watched a movie of our choosing . Each room has its own full bath. We hated leaving because time was up , but also because of leaving Julie and Dick . Can't say enough good things.
