Three friends and I stayed in two rooms a couple weeks ago. Our bathroom came with two bath towels, my roommate and I shared a room so that's one towel a piece. Our first night we stayed there we decided to take a shower then the next morning we wanted to take another shower but both our towels were damp. There is no house keeping currently due to covid which is fine, but management told us if we need anything just call and let them know. So I called the office that morning and talked to the owner Kent to politely request bath towels and this is exactly how the conversation went. Kent - Hidden Moose Lodge Me - Yes, can we get some more bath towels? Kent - Don't you already have towels in your bathroom? Me - Uh yeah but they're both damp. Kent - (sigh) Do you need them right now? Me - Um well yeah, if you don't mind. I could go to the office and pick them up... Kent - Ok so....how many towels do you need? Bath towels? Full set? Help me out here.... Me - Well, FOUR BATH TOWELS would be fine... Kent - click WOW....Unbelievable. Then, the next day Kent referred to one of our friends we were staying there with as an 'old lady'. Yeah, she's in her late 60s. But seriously....Who talks that way about their paying customers? The lodge itself is fairly nice and everyone else we dealt with were all very nice. But if the owner Kent is going to talk to his paying customers they way he treated us, he doesn't deserve anyone's business. I'd say he's in the wrong business. And for that matter deserves to go out of business. Next time I'm visiting Whitefish I'll stay elsewhere. I'd NEVER give Kent another cent of my money.

We stayed at Hidden Moose July 19-22, 2021. Our reservations were made in February. Upon checking in we were informed that we would have to move to a different room for our last night. They had committed our room to another. We not not given any further explanation. We originally has the Glacier Room. It was a large room with lots of space, a table, large TV and sizeable bath. We were forced to move to the Snowghost. This was a smaller room with o where near the space. We were charged the exact same rate for a smaller room. The hosts were not very friendly. Claire never welcomed us when we checked in. Based on our experience, we would never stay here again.

Our room was fantastic, comfortable bed, large bathroom. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast that held us until the afternoon. My wife loved the house blend coffee. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They always seemed excited to help with any questions or needs. We enjoyed the large Jacuzzi, the outside sitting areas, the little waterfall in the back, all so relaxing. We took the pontoon ride given by Kyle on Whitefish Lake, HIGHLY recommended. We feel so lucky that we selected The Hidden Moose Lodge for our stay in Whitefish, we would definitely stay at the Lodge again.

My husband and I joined old friends for four nights. The family and employees were outstanding hosts. The food was very good and the outdoor gathering spots comfy and inviting. We enjoyed the spa and cocktails in the afternoon. One of the highlights was a two hour cocktail and charcuterie sun set boat ride on Whitefish Lake. Great recommendations and help for our day travels. Lots of little touches. You won’t be sorry to spend some time at Hidden Moose Lodge

Our experience at Hidden Moose Lodge was less than mediocre. Lack of proper introductions upon arrival. Zero hospitality. Rude, aggressive and extremely unprofessional in their business practices. Please look elsewhere. Do not recommend!

We stayed at Hidden Moose Lodge recently while visiting Glacier Park. I chose this lodge as it had that "Montana" log cabin atmosphere. The lodge is well decorated and beautiful. It is a short ride to the West entrance of Glacier Park. We stayed in the Great Northern room which faced the woods. We were very satisfied with our room. The staff was always friendly and very willing to answer all your questions. The breakfasts were delicious. Kent was always willing to provide ideas on what to see and where to go during the day. If staying in Whitefish, be sure to make dinner reservations well in advance if there is a particular place you would like to eat. We found it difficult to get one if not reserved more than a few days in advance. We scheduled the sunset cruise with Hidden Moose a week before arriving but disappointed that we could not do it. We were told that there was a problem with the boat that week. Overall, I would stay here again.

Rustic Montana lodge style with unique artistic features throughout. The breakfasts were FABULOUS and we really enjoyed relaxing on the back patio with early morning coffee and evening complimentary wine. The view of the hillside is lovely, with the sound of the waterfall fountain. The hosts and employees were helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed the boat trip with Kyle around Whitefish Lake….exceptional sunset from the boat! The only negative for us was the sound of the road traffic, as this lodge is right on a busy road. But bring your earplugs for sleeping and enjoy everything else it offers!

Loved the large rooms, comfy beds, nice linens, breakfasts, friendly staff, beautiful location. Super close to town, hiking and great restaurants Don’t be thrown off by the office space at check in ( a bit dated and cluttered) . Everything else is wonderful! Loved it and will definitely return!!!
