I used to own and operate a B and B and I know how hard it is to get each and every detail just right! From the moment I walked in and was greeted by Chris, I felt at home. The living room is nicely appointed and welcoming. The breakfasts delicious and beautifully presented with attention to every detail including... More

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2016

Our family of 4 stayed for a week at the Garden Wall in the family suite. The attention to detail was amazing - the best that we have EVER experienced and we have traveled all over North America and Europe. Every day, we were served a different breakfast - nothing was ever repeated, and the breakfasts were extraordinary. If we... More

This by far was one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed. Chris and Rhonda made everything so perfect. Our morning coffee looked like a picture in a magazine! Breakfast was the best meal of our day. They were both so helpful and knowledgable about the area. I got to peek in the other rooms they were all adorable!!... More

Chris and Rhonda make this wonderful B&B special!! It's all in the details. Small, quaint, homey and wonderful and delicious breakfast. Chris was so helpful and informative about Glacier Park and the area. Whatever you need to make your stay memorable they are willing to provide. Note- there are not many rooms so make your reservations early- you will not... More

Chris and Rhonda are excellent hosts. Chris was there to greet us when we checked in early, helped us with our bags and gave us detailed directions on how to get downtown (a five minute walk) and excellent restaurant recommendations. Drinks and snacks are prepared at five and Chris indulged my husband with conversation for about an additional hour and... More

We spent two nights at Garden Wall Inn during a short, restorative visit to Whitefish, prior to spending time in Glacier National Park. The inn is conveniently located on Rt. 93, in downtown Whitefish, a 5-minute walk to all the shopping and dining. The inn is housed inside a lovingly restored 1920’s Colonial Revival, offering five luxurious guest rooms, accented... More

We have stayed with Chris & Rhonda at The Garden Wall Inn too many times to count over about 10 years, and we really have started to think that this place is our home away from home. It's more of a specialized boutique hotel than a typical B&B, with service and attention to detail that exceeds high-end hotels, and the... More

As a guest at the Garden Wall Inn, one experiences White Fish and Glacier in a wonderful, unique way! Rhonda and Chris, have thoughtfully created an environment where needs are anticipated, requests are happily accepted and breakfast is truly a magnificent gourmet farm-to-table beginning for each day. The beautiful cottage garden, the pre-breakfast French press coffee delivered to your room... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The award-winning Garden Wall Inn has been catering to discerning travelers since 1987. The impeccably restored 1920’s inn offers five luxurious guestrooms, each furnished with period antiques. Scrumptious three-course breakfasts are prepared by chef/owners Rhonda Fitzgerald and Chris Schustrom. The Inn is a convenient one-block walk from downtown Whitefish’s excellent restaurants, shops and nightspots. Only 25 minutes from Glacier National Park, the Inn is the perfect base for exploring the Park. The Inn is built in the "Colonial Revival" style with a gambrel roof and clapboard siding. The interior is accented by original solid maple flooring, arts-and-crafts fir moldings, and beveled-glass french doors. The guestrooms’ private baths boast huge claw-foot tubs, pedestal sinks, and black-and-white art-deco tile. Oriental carpets and fine antique furniture complement the lovely rooms. ... more   less
