My husband and I stayed here in June 2022, and completely loved our stay. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and our room (a king room) had all the amenities we needed. The fridge and microwave were nice to have. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Yellowstone in the future.
stayed multiple nights. found well appointed rooms, lovely pool and hot tub, good breakfast that varied from day to day. New facility that was quiet and well kept. much nicer than most older motels in west yellowstone
Family stay for 5 days. Room was 2 queen beds. A/C unit, coffee brewer, mini fridge, tv with direct tv. Informed on arrival that housekeeping will not do room clean everyday unless you request (option A: full service, Option B : trash and towels), might be due to staffing, but actually like that idea . Hot continental breakfast available(6:30-9:30) scrambled eggs (some days there are egg/cheese omelette s ) potato’s, sausages and Canadian bacon slices. There is an auto pancake machine, pastries, toast, bagels,English muffins with a toaster. Cereal machines, milk, juice and hot coco machine. Pool and hot tub available, area kept clean and organized. Plus for me was that coffee available 24/7. Located on the west side of town, can walk, ride bikes 9 or 10 blks to business district where most of the shops, dining is, instead of driving. Would absolutely stay there again if we do another trip to Yellowstone. Judy at the front desk was great in the morning when I rolled down to grab coffee.…
Perfectly located in short distance to "West Yellow Stone" central, where you find a lot of restaurant and turist shopping. In addition it is close to the park entrence. The breakfast is a good start on the day and buffet is open from 6.30 which fit's well so you can experince the park from the morning. Delta airlines lost our luggage during travel and without the really engaged and active staff at the hotel I am sure we would not have seen the luggage again before we where home. Thanks for a nice stay and all your effort to help us :-)
Our stay was awesome. It was quiet, clean and parking was plentiful. Close enough to town, restaurants and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, yet far enough away to be a quiet refuge at the end of a long day of experiencing YNP. The awesome staff couldn’t have been any more friendly and efficient. When we come back, we’ll definitely stay here again.
We stayed in what they called the apartment. It had one room with 2 queen beds and another room with a living room with a pull out couch, a table and a full kitchen.Plenty of room to stretch out. They had a continental breakfast with scrambled eggs bacon pancakes toast bagels and various other things which made things very convenient considering the resturants were very crowded and understaffed. Saved us allot of time. Hotel was located more on the edge of town so was more quiet and less traffic but was only a few blocks away from restaurants and shopping.Hotel staff were nice and accommodating. If you have a family of 4-6 I highly recommend asking to see if the apartment is available. Hotel is also located maybe a mile from Yellowstone's west entrance.
My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay here. It’s an older hotel but still clean. I wouldn’t recommend the free breakfast though. Our options were either heated up spam or reheated eggs. They had a gallon of milk for cereal but the only thing keeping it cold was it was sitting in a pan of water. Other than that, we were happy with our stay. The staff was extremely nice!
1st floor room,so easy to get our dog outside when needed. Also nice woods across the street to take our dog for a walk.Hot breakfast was very good, better than most!!!Also liked their sister hotel in town, The Kelly Inn because they had 1st floor rooms w/outside doors.
We are a retired couple who did a road trip in September. Stayed at West Gate Hotel for 4 nights, as we spent our days in Yellowstone National Park. Well taken care of hotel, always clean. I was able to do laundry( hotel laundry room was kept very clean). The location was great, just minutes from the NP entrance. Area was quiet and hotel had a nice parking lot. We took a bus tour our first day, and was picked up right at our hotel. The shopping / restaurant area of the town of West Yellowstone was a few blocks away. However, what really made this a great stay was the hotel staff. In particular, Judy, who was at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. This was our first time in this part of the US and she was over the top helpful in answering all my questions and offering suggestions. Would definitely stay here if we get back to this part of the US. …
Liked that the hotel was away from the busy downtown. Good breakfast with stay. I thought the nightly fee was a bit high but I guess the demand plays into the rates. Easy check in and out. Had a nice stay.
