The ClubHouse Inn West Yellowstone garners praise for its clean rooms and charming atmosphere, with many travelers finding the cozy décor and friendly staff particularly inviting. The prime location is a highlight, offering easy access to Yellowstone and local amenities. While the rooms are generally appreciated for cleanliness, opinions on size, price, and comfort are mixed.
Guests are divided on the value, with some satisfied and others feeling the cost is steep. The service is well-regarded, despite isolated instances of rudeness.

Detailed Reviews
Clubhouse Inn of West Yellowstone is in an ideal location. Walking distance to everything. The Yellowstone West Gate is a 3 min drive.
We had a family of four, so it felt a bit crowded at times. Breakfast was very light due to COVID-19. Room cleaning was only done on request 24 hours in advance. However, we weren't notified of that at check in. The bathroom was not clean as hair was in the tub. We had to clean the bathroom before we could use it. I had brought my own cleaning products. They did bring clean towels after requesting them.
The biggest problem was payment. I specifically asked if I could use my debit card at checkout and was told sure, that would be no problem. However, at checkout the story switched. They had already charged my card for the stay and had decided that it could not be reversed. I was very disappointed!!! This left a bad taste in my mouth.
I would visit West Yellowstone again, however I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel with a family.

Good afternoon ROWM2002, Thank you for choosing to stay with us at the Clubhouse Inn West Yellowstone! We are definitely sorry about the experience you had while on the property. Hair in the tub is a definite oversight, but we want to assure you that we have a continually returning housekeeping staff and inspector, and we do clean our rooms, sheets, and terry thoroughly, as we always have. We can definitely charge debit cards. We process payments for our expedited check out, and charge the card presented at check-in (this is the same card that is inserted into the machine). We can, and still can, reverse the charge and change payment method if needed. We of course apologize that this was not clearly communicated with you. We hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation! Warmest Regards, Joe Rogers

My family an I stayed here during our recent trip to Yellowstone. We were very happy with this hotel. Traveling during the Covid pandemic, we were extremely focused on cleanliness. This hotel was very clean. The rooms are updated and comfortable. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast could not be provided in the dining area due to Covid, but the did have a small bagged breakfast for us to take in the morning along with coffee. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights in May, just started 2 days after they opened for the season! Stayed in the family suite, which is gigantic and well priced, it has 2 queen beds and 1 pull out couch on 1 side of the suite and another pull out couch, a small dining table, and a small kitchen counter area with a nice sink on the other side. It's next to the elevator on the 3rd floor, but you couldn't really hear the elevator unless you were right nex to the door of the room. It was really nice, pool was very nice, breakfast was hot and excellent and very well socially distanced and sanitized. Absolutely recommend staying here!

We paid $272 a night and this place is similar to a Motel 6 or Super 8. Unfortunately, we booked for a busy time (July) and with only a few weeks notice, or else we would have stayed in YS. I guess we paid for the "location and busy dates" :(. There are a few cosmetic updates that give the impression (in some of the pics) that this place is kind of nice, but sadly that is not the case. It is old in many areas, including our bathroom. Also, the towels were thin and we had one roll of "one ply toilet paper". Lastly, it was not "covid clean" as it should be, or even "usual clean".....I wiped down the toilet with a Clorox wipe and "stuff" came up...this should never happen. I told the desk clerk and he didn't even say "sorry", he said "I'll let housekeeping know". Best to find alternative places to stay.

Got a good price on this hotel. The beds are comfortable, the room is pretty clean and the location is good. However, I’m disappointed with how they serve the breakfast as well as the food, itself. The breakfast area is a mess. The food itself, it’s terrible. The apples and oranges are mushy - and they’re out where anyone can put their hands on them. The yogurt is frozen, the boiled eggs are dry (when they have them), there were no forks the first morning we were here. The toaster for bagels doesn’t work well. Small boxes of cereal and individual cartons of milk would be better and more sanitary. I feel like we could’ve found a better deal.

Thank you for your comments, we're glad you enjoyed your room. We're sorry about the breakfast but due to Covid we are limited as to what we are allowed to service. We appreciate the feedback, it helps us improve. We hope you can return when all this is over and we are offering our full hot breakfast again.

Enjoyed 4 nights in this hotel affiliated with Kelly Inn next door. Excellent accommodations with exceedingly friendly staff. Breakfast room was spacious, and breakfast food was quite good including hot pancakes and other hot items. WiFi was slow, but acceptable for routine email checking and internet browsing. Cleanliness was also acceptable with in-room cleaning by request only under COVID-19 protocols.

Very spacious room, good satisfying breakfast, good service. only complaint is that the laundry room closes at 10pm. It leaves guests fighting for 1 set of machines during the day. Someone took our clothes out 1/2 way through the cycle in the dryer to put their clothes in. They did mention laundry available next door open all night at their sister inn but we did not want to lug our laundry down the stairs and across the parking lot.

Had a great stay. Place was clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had was that breakfast didn’t have healthy options. All of the food was very high preservatives. The food was very cheap and low quality. I understand it’s not a restaurant but the cost of 3 nights was my mortgage and with that town being where it is that hotel would stay full and have the ability to afford higher quality like a fruit mixture, real eggs not from a carton and pre frozen meats. I would definitely stay here again. My kids and girlfriend loved it there as well. The rooms were just right, it was quiet in and around the hotel. The pool was well kept and the kids got many hours in the water. Thank y’all for being so clean!

This hotel has an excellent location, 5 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The room was good, comfortable and fairly clean. The breakfast options were not the best due to COVID-19, but the room has a microwave so you can use it. The hotel is close to many restaurants, gas stations and a supermarket. The pool and the hot tub were also a plus.

Staff really nice and warm. The room was very clean and with no funny smell even though I stayed in a pet room. There was a small fridge and coffee maker in the room, but they also offer free coffee and hot chocolate 24/7 at the lobby. The breakfast is free and with variety of food from yogourt to eggs and pancakes.
