we loved our stay at this campground, well kept and so friendly. The staff even let our dog hang out inside while we did laundry. Shower and laundry areas were excellent and very clean. There is a lovely lake and view to enjoy. RV sites are very large and well kept. Really can't say enough. The staff was lovely. We would highly recommend staying here.
This is a great campground about 10 minutes from West Yellowstone. It's on a beautiful lake with mountains in the background. Sites are not right on top of each other which is nice! Full hook up. The staff is very friendly. The showers are clean. The laundry is nice. Has a nice little store with some groceries. Would definitely recommend this campground and will definitely stay here if we make it back to the area!
We stayed for a week in a campsite near the lake with easy egress and ingress. Beautiful vistas and very quiet. Staff was extremely helpful. Short drive to Yellowstone National Park and the small town of West Jefferson had several restaurants and a small grocery store for necessities.
We only stayed for one night but had we more time I would gladly have stayed longer. Beautiful setting. Meticulous bathrooms and laundry. Super nice folks. I’m sure this place is very popular in summer. Don’t miss Earthquake Lake nearby and even though we didn’t go I hear the Red Rock area is great for off-roading nearby as well
We had a wonderful 5-night stay! Beautiful site next to the lake (9), super well maintained facilities, and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend. About a 20 minute drive from park entrance……………..
Great resort on Lake Hebgen & only 15min from West Yellowstone. Beautiful scenery & wild life with full RV hook-ups. Had a herd of elk cross road on way into town one morning, it was amazing. Staff was very friendly!! Would definitely stay again!
The campground sits next to Lake Hebgen and provides awesome views of the lake and surrounding hills. The site had full hookups, they even provided their own black tank flush hose connected already. The campground is 20 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Overall was a great place to stay.
This is an ideal place to park your camper when visiting Yellowstone. The lake is beautiful, excellent for fishing, and one can get to the West Yellowstone gate in short order. The staff teams are helpful and kind, and sites are clean and spacious. Because it's next to the lake, the bugs come out in the evening, so bring spray. Just in terms of overall cleanliness, a beautiful setting, and the professionalism and kindness of the staff, you cannot find a better campground. We will come back!
My husband and I have been summering at Yellowstone Holiday (YHR) in a travel trailer for the last 5-years. To say the capable management/staff are friendly and to mention all the extra ammenities over and above other RV parks (even a clean cloth bath mat for every shower) would be redundant... no doubt, other reviewers have more than adequately covered all this. Instead, let me highlight location, location, location and how this wonderful RV campground is right on Hebgen Lake... only twenty minutes from the fracas in West Yellowstone (with great restaurants, lots of tourist shopping, ice cream, grocery stores...) and the west entrance to beautiful Yellowstone National Park. After a busy day of sightseeing or a day off there is swimming and pontoon/fishing boat rentals. There is an abundance of kayaks, paddle boards and other family fun toys available free of charge on a first come-first served basis. Most people don't know that Hebgen Lake is a huge and beautiful reservoir between the upper and lower blue ribbon Madison River. In short, it's a mecca for fly fishermen like my husband. It's world reknown as a dry fly fishery and, if needed, there are great family friendly fishing guides available to help you catch the big one. Just ask in the office. Here is a shout out for Justin who has something for everyone in a big pontoon, including tubing, and Matt Morrel in a drift boat for the river or a bass tracker on the lake for some serious fly fishing fun... husband says newbies and veterans alike will have a great day with a great teacher like Matt! Oh, and I might add YHR is pet friendly. The property is huge with lots of grassy areas and pet stations. Mine also loves the surrounding open fields for extra romping and play time.…
This was a great trip!! The front staff was so informative before booking. They knew weather conditions, proximity to Yellowstone, and didn’t rush me off the phone. ~15 minutes from Yellowstone NP ~1 hour from Old Faithful ~lakeside cabins ~shallow goes a long way ~tether ball in front of cabins ~kayak, paddle boards for rent ($15 per hour) ~showers/laundry available 24/7 ~10 minutes to downtown ~THE BEST CHOICE for amenities, friendly staff, & affordability, & relaxing spot
