It was really nice staying in a motel where your car could be right outside your door. When you’re road tripping this is always my first preference this was a nice clean motel with a very comfortable king-size bed. Bathroom was nice and clean with nice towels, good water pressure. Room had a nice size mini refrigerator with a good size freezer and we were able to freeze our bottles of water to keep our cooler cold overnight.

Across the parking lot from the motel, there was a nice picnic table and gas grill where we could prepare our own meals.

They had a nice ice machine where we could utilize free ice and they had a pay washer and dryer so we could do some laundry mid trip.

We would recommend! Town was cute, wish we would have had time to explore.

We stayed 1 night here during our most recent trip in July '20 to Yellowstone and found the stay to be excellent! For the price we paid, compared to other hotels/motels in West Yellowstone, we got a great deal! This year due to COVID concerns there had been a lot cancellations and luckily for us the owner had an open room for us..
The owner was an extremely friendly and nice gentleman, and he held a room for us on our return from Jackson Hole, WY. We got back late and were glad to be put up in a fantastic, comfortable and clean room. The owner does all the work around the motel, and takes pride in his work which is evident from how well maintained the rooms were! The floors and bathroom were impeccably maintained which was very impressive for a small motel. The room had a small fridge, refrigerator and a coffee pot, as well as TV and dish network! Adequate parking is also available right outside your rooms, which is convenient. Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night here, because it was booked up for the rest of the nights. I would recommend this motel to anyone visiting Yellowstone.

This place is unique. We stayed in the 3 bed room. All three beds were different, but all were comfortable and clean. This place also did not have carpet, which was great! We had a mini fridge and a microwave, both worked. The room was huge, bathroom was small, but efficient and clean. You can park right in front of your room. The washer and dryer worked great and cheapest laundry we did on the whole trip. You can walk to downtown, which had great choices for shopping and eating. Yellowstone entrance is very convenient and extremely close. I would recommend this motel to friends, families, and I would stay again.

We left feeling there must be a better option for the price - about $120 per night - in West Yellowstone. The staff is friendly and attentive and the rooms are clean but we stayed in a room with 2 full beds and we both felt we were sleeping in a hammock. Probably about the softest bed I've ever slept in at any motel/hotel we've ever stayed. Parking is very limited but you can get past that, but the bed....

There are a lot of places to stay in West Yellowstone and with all the good reviews, I picked this one and am very glad I did. This is a small, family run motel. I spoke many times with Carrie, the manager and she was very friendly and helpful. I made my reservations months in advance and was assigned our room them. We had a nice, big and cozy corner room. When we first walked in, you walk in to a small room with a double bed then there was the room we slept in with two double beds. It was a very comfortable room for our two night stay. The bathroom had a lot of nice fluffy towels. There was a small refrigerator, microwave, ac, cable tv, and complimentary WIFI. Our room was very quiet. They have benches outside of the rooms to sit and enjoy a cool evening. When we checked out, met Mike the owner. Nice guy.

The location is near restaurants and shops and a very short drive - 4 blocks - to the West Entrance of Yellowstone.

There is free parking with spots right in front of the rooms.

I highly recommend One Horse Motel. You will love it - we did!.

The room was very small. The furniture was mismatched and scarred. The ac and heater were in room units. The AC was cery noisy. You could only use the overhead fan with the light turned on. No in room or in lobby coffee. When I went to the lobby to ask for an ice bucket, I was told there were none in the rooms "because of Covid" Really

This is a very basic motel but has the best pricing in West Yellowstone. Owner is a great guy and gives you a nice map of the town and restaurant suggestions.
Location is great and off the main drags. Close to many restaurants. There is no coffee maker in room but manager will gladly provide you one along with coffee packets all at no cost. This is a must for those budget minded travelers.

I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of August. I also stayed here on a visit in 2016. Very satisfied with the price and experience. Although there is no breakfast, the room has a mini fridge and microwave for food storage and prep. Everything in West Yellowstone is within walking distance, including several grocery stores. I'd stay here again.

An entire wing of the motel was destroyed due to a propane explosion. The Motel won't be open again until April 15th, 2024. If you had seen the amount of damage we're dealing with to get things running again, you might change your tune. And the $15 covers our card processing. We're not making money here, to be sure. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is a frustrating, but unavoidable circumstance. We appreciate your understanding.

Two of us stayed for four nights while visiting Yellowstone National Park. While the property is old, it is well-maintained, very clean and the bed was comfortable. We spent most of our time in the park, so we basically needed someplace to sleep and this hotel is very close to the West entrance. Mike from the hotel was helpful in identifying a few places to eat and since our room was ready he allowed us to check in early, which allowed us to get into Yellowstone early afternoon. The room had a refrigerator and microwave and free ice was readily available. The room had a laminate floor, which is fine with us and the bathroom was clean. Our room was actually fairly spacious and there was an extra bench that was perfect for our luggage. The motel was full as was the parking lot. I think this was reflective of the reasonable rates. All in all, we had a good stay and we would return for future stays if we ever visit Yellowstone National Park again.

Hi Folks; My primary concern is that the room doesn't smell from cooking in it. We have to have the rooms ready for the next guests after you leave. Nobody likes to come into a room with weird odors. I know you feel the same way. So just be thinking about that when you cook something. Thanks
