The hotel is a seasonal operation that appears to cater to European guests. We stayed for 3 nights. Upon a late arrival, we were met with a less than friendly staff member at the front desk. It was here we first learned that housekeeping was per request. We were okay with that until we got to the room. No hand soap, no glasses. We had to go get them. The carpet in the room had not been cleaned (shampooed) for a while. And we found that the room walls were thin and could hear unwanted conversational sounds. The website did not mention the no daily maid service nor the fact that Wi-Fi was only in the small lobby area with wired internet to the rooms. This was discovered just before we departed from home and confirmed by the hotel when I called them. I then purchased a travel router/hotspot device to accommodate our Wi-Fi devices. This did allow me to use an Amazon locker for the first time while in route to Yellowstone. The breakfast was cold service only. There was a hot egg, cheese taquito available. They varied each day with the amount "heat" they contained. The gentleman caring for the breakfast area was very nice and made sure everything was kept filled and fresh including the guests. We enjoyed talking with him. We observed some of the international guests putting (hopefully) unused utensils and food items back where they found them. That was a bit unsettling especially coming out of Covid. We gave our silverware an extra wipe after that. We were looking forward to smores by the firepit at night, but the fire pit sits out in the open, unsheltered from the wind, rain or cool late September weather. We noticed that a lot of the hotels in the area also had fire pits, so it was not a unique offering. We found that the rooms and hotel in general were always on the warm side. We used the air conditioner and slept with the window open even with the temperatures dropping into the low 30's at night. We did meet the nice lady who took care of the rooms. She gladly traded my bag of trash for a roll of toilet paper and even gave us a couple of bottles of chilled water. The location is great to get into the park quickly and not far from restaurants and such. Overall, I was a little disappointed in our experience after looking forward to it for some time. The price was on the high side for what we got but was competitive to other venues. Perhaps being at the end of the season both the facility and staff were a little tired. One plus to that was the free ice cream bars they were trying to get rid of. Who says no to free ice cream?

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, although we did not spend a lot of time in our room as the National Park is full of places to visit. The hotel location is convenient, a few minutes drive from the West entrance of the Park and the staff is friendly, helpful and polite. Also the city of West Yellowstone is a few minutes walk, so no need for driving to the main restaurant/shopping area. The room was clean and comfortable. They do not offer room housekeeping except if you request for it, which is nice due to COVID as well as environmental friendlier as they do not exchange your towels if there is no need to. The breakfast, which is served daily until 10am, had a lot of choices, although there were no fried egg option (only hard boiled) nor fresh fruits, but there were waffles and fresh coffee as well as cereal and bagels. The hotel has a gym as well as a pool, but we did not have time or energy to use them. We heard that they have also free laundry room (not personally used). Last but not least, there is a fire pit outside with free s’mores at night as well as free ice cream every afternoon.

Reading some reviews of other hotels in West Yellowstone helped set our expectations otherwise I would have rated this hotel differently. I have it a 4 bc honestly I think this is as good as it gets in West Yellowstone. Overall, it was fine. The room was clean upon check in, location was convenient and staff was friendly. Our 2nd day there we realized housekeeping hadn’t come by and we needed more towels. No problem that housekeeping doesn’t clean everyday but normally the hotel will let you know so it just seemed odd. Before we headed out for our 2nd full day in the park, I stopped by the front desk to ask if housekeeping could clean our room while we were out. The girl at the disk was super friendly and said she’d be happy to have them stop by but then asked what I wanted them to do? I’ve never had to request certain services before from housekeeping. I just thought it would be standard protocol. I asked for clean towels and our beds made up. When we returned later that evening, we did have clean towels however the beds weren’t made. Not a huge deal (we can make up our own beds) but just not the typical service you receive at a hotel. We would stay here again as it met our needs and again, staff was friendly which goes a long way in my book!

Hotel is located at a nice convenient place. This is not a great place compared to the price we were charged. Breakfast was below average with not much choice at all. Staff didn't really have a friendly attitude at all. Seems like they don't really care. Room cleaning is available only on demand. So, we had to ask them to empty trash and get us fresh towels.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Nice location and very nice staff. The room was comfortable and breakfast was fairly good. Pool and hot tub were very nice as well. Laundry was free which was a nice perk. They also had a very cute little fire pit outside and free ice cream in the afternoons. The walls were a bit thin but we may have just had noisy neighbors :) Overall, very nice place to stay near the entrance to Yellowstone.

below average - at least compared to the price (2700$/7 Nights) rooms are OK but outdated. Houesekeeping: ther was no cleaning at all for 2 days. after further enquiry, they told us it‘s done on demand - > you have to tell exactly what should be done. so I ordered bed/bath and trash, thinking this is a complete cleanup. after comming back fon the next day-nothing happened! asked for an immediate cleanup, which has been done. unfortunately they just emptied trash, made bed without exchanging the linens and exchanged the towels to „new“ ones containing black stains.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent...just a few blocks from the west entrance station to Yellowstone and also walkable to the shops and restaurants. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, plus really nice amenities like complimentary s'mores kits each night to be prepared outside by the fire, complimentary ice cream in the lobby in the early evening, 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobby, plus a really great breakfast! Parking is plentiful and free. Would definitely stay again!

The rooms were average for the high rate. the beds were average and sort of clean. The breakfast (cold continental) was worthless! If they ran out of something (no one was ordering supplies because we saw several Sysco trucks ) they simple took away the basked or container that would have held the product. No cold eggs, no oatmeal that was hot, no fruit on the second and following days because they ran out. No packaged rolls or bagels or even toast although there was a toaster! The staff just shrugged off the plight of the customer. When asked to speak to the manager, we were told that they were running another hotel and we could call them. We did and NEVER received a call back. Don't stay here. Don't stay here! They don't care, except for the even desk lady. It truly was not worth it!

The room was OK, but the AC/Heater unit was loud. There's no restaurant or bar in the hotel. I've visited West Yellowstone many times over the past two decades and I tried this place out for the first time. Sadly, there are better options in West Yellowstone.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's just a couple miles from the West Yellowstone entrance, so you can't beat it for convenience. They have a camp host who loaned us bear spray and gave us maps and all the information we needed for our 3 days visiting the park. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the free laundry since we had lots of sweaty hiking clothes. My husband enjoyed the free ice cream social each day. Plus the pool and hot tub were quite clean The manager was super helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
