We stayed in the bear cabin, and it was fantastic! In town with walking distance to everything, a quaint historic cabin, decorated rustic and fun. The cabin had two beds with tvs, eating area, and updated bath. Staff was onsite and available when there was a minor technical issue, which they immediately and graciously solved for us. I was very highly impressed! It was a fun stay!
My partner and I stayed in one of the cabins during the COVID-19 pandemic. The cabin was incredibly clean. The check in and check out process was efficient (lobby was open 24/7) and felt safe. The two men working the front desk were friendly and answered all of our questions. The location was great. We walked to get take-out each night and ate outside at the tables and chairs provided outside the cabins. The west entrance to the park is only about a 5-10 minute drive.
We recently chose to stay here because we wanted a private spot near Yellowstone and this was a perfect fit. Less than 10 minutes to the gates of the park but near restaurants and shops. It also had very comfy beds and just the right amount of space for our family of 3, with chairs in the front and pretty hanging flower baskets. Check-in was simple and we had minimal interaction with anyone else, which was exactly what we wanted. The cabins were a little pricey but we agreed they were worth the cost and our stay here was delightful. One morning a beautiful fox even strolled right by our door!
We booked 2 nights, thinking we had one of the cute cabins shown in the offered pictures. Just before we left we found we didn't have one as we were only a single queen. For $50 more than the already $275 we paid per night, we could get a cabin. There are only 4 cabins. When we arrived at this very weirdly separated motel, we were directed to this tiny parking area with giant tree roots and trees pushing thru the lot. In our motel room which was a 12x12 with a 5x5 bath (probably constructed in the 50s) my husband found electrical cords lying on the floor with 3 units plugged in together. Most of their wiring in the bedroom was like this. He had to take the coffee pot to the toilet tank to plug in. He is only 5'10" and had to duck to comb his hair in the mirror. This bathroom is definitely a one bum room! The bedroom had a coat of dust around the carpet edges. We give it one star because the linen was nice and white and the bathroom was clean. Someone is certainly writing good reviews of things we never saw--wonder who they are?…
Staff gave us an upgrade to a suite for our anniversary. Nice and clean and quiet. The log cabins looked really neat. Close enough to Main Street to walk and shop. Lots of littel details makes this hotel the place to stay.
