The staff rescued us from a failed trip into the Park...they had nothing to do with the failure, but hearing our plight they immediately jumped on the phones, found us a last minute guide with an warm and enclosed Bombardier coach and off we went. Jodi was our reception desk angel and Don (the mountain man), was our guide into the Park. HUGE thanks to all of you.

We visited Three Bears over New Years for a family vacation the location, accomodations and staff were wonderful. We booked through Charlie @ Yellowstone Fun and he planned a snowmobiling package that was full of adventure for my teenage boys. Three Bears is located in town within walking distance to restaurants and shops and the snowmobile rentals is on site as well. The Three Bears restaurant's breakfast and dinner is very good and the staff are friendly and take great care of you. Couldn't of had a better vacation and it was budget friendly as well.

A friend had booked snow mobiles for the day through an agent (who normally gets great reviews - not this time Charlie!). The booking had never been completed and on arriving at Three Bear Lodge it transpired that we weren’t expected. The reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. They called round all the other operators in the area to see if the booking was made elsewhere, called Charlie who was more concerned about being at fault (he was) and then pulled a rabbit of a hat by arranging a last minute private tour of Yellowstone in a vintage Bombardier snow vehicle with one of the area’s most popular guides. We had the best day, undoubtedly far better than some of the snow mobile trippers who were clearly frozen (-20C). Special mention for Jodie who was our saving angel and to whom my wife and I will be eternally grateful.

We’d travelled to West Yellowstone on holiday from the UK with a friend from Utah. Thinking we’d organised skidoo hire from this place we rocked up, only to find no booking, in fact no booking anywhere in town at all, The intermediate agent had messed up. Seeing our disappointment the hotel receptionist Jodie was just amazing. She said ‘let me see what I can do... ‘ well this lady worked some magic! 10 minutes later she’d got us a Bombardier, with a wonderful guide (Don) to take us into the park to see Old Faithful. From the jaws of disaster, we had the best day out ever. Thank you three bears lodge, Jodie and Don. We are very happy people. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We tried it this year but most of us in our group found it disappointing. The rooms are tired and in not terribly good repair. In my room I found a light burned out, the coffee pot didn't have a carafe and the desk chair would not go up or down. Bringing it to the desk's attention got the light bulb replaced. If you are there in winter, it's really for snowmobilers. They are loud, park outside your room and if you aren't into them, they are annoying as jerks ride in and rev their engines - it's a chainsaw masacre outside your door. The internet is sloooow and often hangs. Really a disappointment and although we like the people fine and know them, I could not recommend staying there as group. The restaurant there is OK but seems to have sort of lost it's way with a limited menu where before, it was better and more varied. Guess the competion is stiff in town.
