This is for sure an experience one should do at least once, especially for those who would love to try camping but without the effort, hence glamping (glamorous camping). Every staff were super friendly and helpful, upon arriving they’ll shuttle you and your luggage to your tent, give you a few rules, and make sure you’re familiar with your tent. They even gave us a round trip ride to and from their restaurant, we thought that was really cool (we didn’t have to walk or drive ourselves). Close to sunset they’ll set up camp fire with s’mores and there’s even corn hole to play. There were 6 of us so we had a luxury tent with a queen bed, 2 cots, fire stove, and a private bathroom plus an adjacent tipi with 2 single beds. There were outlets in every tent and the covers are super comfy and warm. During our stay past midnight there were heavy wind that sounded and felt like our tipi was gonna blow over, but it was very sturdy and it kept, it was scary but we all thought it added to our amazing experience. Breakfast was included on our stay but sadly we had to leave before it started ☹️. All in all this is the closest thing one gets from real camping without putting in work. Our group called it camping with champagne.

Dear pablol257, Thank you for taking the time to write us such a great review on TripAdvisor! We truly enjoyed having you and your family stay with us while you were vacationing at Yellowstone National Park. There is nothing better than a Montana sunset and making s'mores with the family. I will make sure to share all of your kind words with our staff. We look forward to hosting you again next year! Sincerely, Eric Otis

Property's Favorite Review
My family of four (kids age 5 and 11) recently spent 4 nights at Under Canvas Yellowstone and had a fantastic experience. It's been said in other reviews, but the staff is phenomenal. It's evident that they are trained to treat guests like they are staying at a luxury full service hotel. Lena, Kayla, Eric, Charles, and several others went above and beyond multiple times during our stay. Hospitality is truly a priority here. We stayed in a suite tent - very comfortable king bed and sofa bed, plus a private 3-piece bathroom with plenty of hot water for the shower. We enjoyed lighting a fire each night to keep the tent warm, and there were plenty of blankets (we ordered extra for the kids, which were brought to the tent immediately). My wife and I spent time outside each night on the deck enjoying a glass of wine and the jaw-dropping Montana night sky. The stargazing was truly breathtaking, lots of shooting stars, and the nights were so quiet and peaceful (quiet hours are from 11pm-7am). The sun didn't fully set until nearly 10pm so it was fun to socialize around the fire with other guests each night, roast s'mores, and play games like badminton with live music in the background. The kids also got a kick out of the golf carts that the staff drove us around in all over the property. Bugs were never an issue for us. The restaurant was great as well - we ate dinner all four nights there and took a few lunches to go (you can pre-order the night before so you don't need to worry about finding a place to eat in the park). Chicken with wild rice, blackened salmon, quinoa bowl, and the ribeye were great, and they have good options for the kids as well, plus a full bar with local craft beer options. The comp breakfast each morning helped us get our day going quickly, with new selections each day and plenty of coffee to fuel up as we headed into the parks or activities (ziplining nearby that we booked through the Activities desk was a hit, as was the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, both just 10 minutes from Under Canvas). There are lots of charming motels near Yellowstone, but this glamping experience allowed our family to really bond, be outside, enjoy nature, and spend quality time together without giving up the comforts of a hotel stay. There are certainly differences between hotels and glamping, but it was always comfortable, and the staff was always available to help with anything we needed. Perhaps the most obvious sign of a successful trip was how sad the kids were to leave, and how we spent our drive home discussing which Under Canvas location we wanted to to go next.

This place is amazing! We stayed here for only one night before we went into the park because we thought it would be better to be centrally located rather than drive in and out. The campground was so nice - the scenery, the many places to unwind, the starry skies, the cozy beds, the super clean bathrooms, the smores, the trails - that it made me think twice about our decision to stay in Yellowstone. What an introduction to camping (er glamping) for my two young kids. And the staff were so nice!! I'm going to be looking to book other visits to national parks where there are Under Canvas' for future trips - can't think of a better recommendation than that!
