Booked a room here for a last minute fall trip. The price was reasonable, but that is all I can say for the accommodations as well. The photos on the website are deceptive, and that is acknowledged by the owners, but be cautious. We stayed in #4 and the kitchen is fit into what normally would be a closet. So... More

I stayed in Room 3. I appreciated not being in the center of town, how much room I had in this room, the mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The room was clean and I was sinfully grateful for a not-low-flow-shower. My only issue was the neighbors. One upstairs was so loud that I woke to the manager telling them... More

we were deterred from our original destination and found we were close to West Yellowstone. I checked all the website am Bs learned there was only one room left. Boy did we get lucky ! The outside is nothing to look at but the inside rooms are warm and inviting. Although there was no air conditioning, there was a fan... More

Another older motel, but it is well maintained. Very convenient to the west entrance to the park and away from the downtown noise . Spacious rooms, nice décor, good sleep quality and very quiet. Our room had a kitchen, full size refrigerator, gas stove, microwave and all the necessities for preparing a meal. The bathroom was large and had just... More

We stayed for 3 nights in late June. We wanted a hotel that was inexpensive and near the entrance to Yellowstone. We weren't looking for luxury as we felt we would be spending very little time in our room. While the price may seem a bit high for what you get, for this area it was extremely reasonable. The hotel... More

The owners (husband and wife) were really nice. The other night, the whole region had a major blackout. The owner went out to the hardware store to buy lanterns so we do not have to sit in our rooms in the pitch dark. Fortunately, the lights came back on before it got dark. The rooms have a refrigerator, micro wave... More

We stayed at this Holiday Inn for a pretty penny. It was a matter of convenience to be close to Yellowstone. It was clean and nice and seemed relatively new or newly remodeled. If you are looking for a bargain, you might want to look elsewhere. For us, it was worth it as we split Yellowstone up into 2 days... More

This was also a pleasantly surprising find for us in Yellowstone. It's located 5 mins from the park entrance and is also bang opposite an awesome pancake place. The owner/manager of the Motel used to be a park ranger and gave us useful tips on which places to hit in the park for bear sightings. We visited in the week... More

We arrived at Yellowstone National Park without reservations and, of course, the place was booked solid, even in late September. So, we drove into West Yellowstone since that’s the most convenient gateway city. There are places on the main drag – Yellowstone Avenue – but after some searching online, we chose the Holiday Motel. It’s a nice quiet budget motel... More

I would recommend this motel. We booked for three a three night stay in the motel , however after getting caughtout by a huge hold up at security at Las Vegas airport we missed our plane. Phoned to say would be a day late getting there, no problem was the reassuring reply. We arrived to find that there was no... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built in the 1950's, the Holiday Motel retains the charm of a different era. Rooms are small but the bathrooms are large. The walls are tongue in groove wood and parking is directly outside your door! We are currently working on a total remodel of the property and this takes time but the rooms that are completed are lovely! We are off the beaten path but it is quiet. The best breakfast place in town, The Running Bear Pancake House, is just across the street and each room has microwave, fridge and in room coffee. ... more   less
