Adorable, private and immaculately clean! Emma and the rest of the rest of the staff were so nice and very accommodating. Fire pits lit at night with s’mores packs available. Breakfast included in the am. Various wine and beer available for purchase in the lobby. May be a little more expensive than other places in WY but worth it!
Golden Stone is a very modern, clean new property that separates itself from other properties in that it is partnered with the best guide service in West Yellowstone, Big Sky Anglers. We were contacted before our arrival about checking in, and greeted wonderfully by staff once we did arrive. We fished for two days and the guides even met us at our front porch. The rooms are immaculate with great artwork and feel of the area. Great to have breakfast, and the option to grab and go if you are fishing. It is nice and quiet, and even provides the makings for good smores around the fire pit. Nice that it is gas and you don't come back to the room smelling like a camp fire. All in all, I would highly recommend this property.
This hotel is a must-stay. It’s new and incredibly comfortable. The service is excellent. They text you prior to arrival with your key code. The room/cabin is perfectly outfitted with tons of storage, a refrigerator, coffeemaker, wine glasses, ice bucket (microwave on request - although you won’t need it because their 24 hour adorable lounge is available for your use with a microwave, toaster and amenities!) At night sit by the fire pit and enjoy their complimentary S’mores packs! They have a small gift shop with wonderful bottles of wine, craft beers, snacks, etc. Adirondack chairs on your private deck! Breakfast in the morning was great! I love this place!!
Third time I've stayed at the Golden Stone Inn and it continues to be an amazing place. Very clean, incredibly comfortable beds, tasty breakfasts and the most friendly and helpful staff you can imagine. Also nice to be a little away from the busiest streets in West Yellowstone but still only a short walk from shops and restaurants. Have already booked for next year!
Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Accommodations are clean and kept nice. Bed was comfortable. Daily towel changes. Breakfast was awesome and Covid safe. Would recommend without hesitation. Comfortable spot off the main road in West Yellowstone.
I would give this place a 15 rating if I could! Everything was excellent!! Very clean, cute, and comfortable. Very accessible, my daughter is in a wheelchair! The staff are super friendly and accommodating! I love love love this place!!! I felt at home!!!
We were excited to spend a little more to have a romantic stay at a cabin but it was not “a mountain retreat” as advertised. We were very surprised it was located next to a commercial zip-line activity center, and building store. Clearly, not a mountain area or fishing streams until you drive into Yellowstone. Our room had no white robes as pictured online, and no microwave in the room. There was only a one-person TV-type table for eating unless you wanted to sit facing a wall at a desk. The cabin was overpriced compared to other lodging in the area. The first morning at 8 am when we went for breakfast, there were only 3 breakfast sandwiches on a warming platter. One was a bacon, egg, and cheese, the other 2 were vegetarian. When we asked for another bacon sandwich, we were told it would take 20 minutes to cook. Surely, there were going to be more than the two of us eating breakfast after 8 on a Sunday morning. The breakfast offerings were limited. The best thing about the staff was Devan who was helpful throughout our stay, even coming to fix the TV in our room which we had reported earlier. The two nights we stayed a large group of adult men sat around both fire pits, with a table sat up as a bar with a many bottles of alcohol which had clearly been consumed for sometime. Rather than stay to listen to their loud and boisterous conversations, we left to walk around the downtown. They were still going when we returned. Then there was our less than lovely window views of a zip line or huge, commercial trash bin. We felt the accommodations lacked for the price we paid and did not enjoy being right next door to a zip line which began their music early in the morning. We originally reserved online for $399, then received an email notification two days later the price was increased to $429, and it was too late to cancel without losing one night’s deposit. Upon arrival, we learned this was because we had reserved it through National Park Reservations. Next time we will definitely stay somewhere else.…
Stayed here with my adult son and his girlfriend on an end-of-summer hiking/fishing/get away. Rooms so thoughtfully furnished with comfy beds, including real pillows! Even a nifty full length mirror that doubles as a rod holder. Bathroom modern and clean. Two outdoor fire rings with chairs provided and cheerful blazes to hang around after a full day of sightseeing in Yellowstone. Management was very helpful and property was quit for a good night's rest. West Yellowstone itself is a kitschy tourist town that has a bit of everything---including a Haagen-daz Ice Cream store!
I loved this place, it was made for folk like me. All one story with easy access to my vehicle. Good breakfast to get me going for the day. A place for everything incluing my rod and reel and even a spot for my wading boots. Clean, quiet comfortable and a great staff.
Golden Stone inn is a true gold here at West Yellowstone Cabins are immaculate clean, great design, all necessary amenities are in place (even some that you usually not expected to find at the inn like makeup remover) The staff is super friendly. I would highly recommend this place for everyone!!! I have a video of my room (unfortunately can’t place it here) but believe me - all is even better then you could see on the web site
