Pros: The camp workers were phenomenal. They helped us navigate the space and even helped us situate the car dolly. Very reasonable rates Very near Yellowstone Park entrance Cons: Ladies shower no hot water Men’s shower too much hot water No cable and weak WiFi
This was our second time staying in the RV park because we loved it the first time…and it has sadly slid down a very steep hill. First, half of the RV park is now gone, replaced by what looks like an apartment building. Second, this place has absolutely no amenities. The restrooms/showers were open one day of the four we were there; closed due to sewer issues. We were only able to use water and power hookups due to the same sewer issue; had to go to another RV park and pay additional money to dump our tanks. Definitely not worth the money we paid and will never stay here again which is unfortunate.
Wagon wheel campground is a dump! Don't be fooled by the pics. The good reviews are family. Obvious with the last names. Whoever took the picks should work for national geographic because this is not the reality. This place ruined the beginning of a long planned trip to Yellowstone. Walmart parking lot would have been better. The price is thievery. Could not take a shower due to water pressure. We were surrounded by street and traffic. I was waiting for a drug deal to go down at any minute. Read the reviews!!! Your trip is suppose to be relaxing, comfortable, etc. This will ruin it. We left two days early and went into Yellowstone camping rustic. It was so much better than this dump.
This place was super disappointing. Basically it is a parking lot with some trees, that is across the street from a parking lot. From the photos on the web you can't tell but yup that is what it is. The "showers" were not upkept and moldy. The spot they had us parked it was super tight and was on top of the neighbor. It was so bad that we ended up leaving as we didn't want to stay.
Stayed 2 nights. Spaces are very tight for our 40 ft RV. They advertise that they have cable but they do not. Not easy to get in and out. It is quiet and close to West Yellowstone entrance and town. They do have WiFi.
