This is my husbands 5th year & my 2nd year staying in the cabins. The cabins are comfortable & the Madison River flows right by. You can listen to the river at night & fish it in the day. The people are very friendly, my husband enjoys the fly shop & the breakfasts are great.....just be hungry when you sit... More

My family and I parked our Motor home at a space in the Campfire Lodge has the standard power, water and sewage hook ups. The bathroom and showers were clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. The river running by is beautiful. But the best part of the stay was going to the cafe for breakfast; It is Amazing!... More

We've stayed at Campfire Lodge for many, many years. We honeymooned in Yellowstone more years ago than I'm willing to share and have always loved the park. For those who feel the need to stay "in" the park this isn't your place. But for those who want a peaceful, quiet beautiful location about 30 minutes from the West entrance to... More

When in the West Yellowstone area, the Campfire Lodge Resort is the place for the Best Breakfast you'll ever have. Located on the Madison River below Hebgen Lake dam. Pancakes as big as the plates, light and fluffy, and Monday through Friday they have a special with different fruit in them, Tuesday is strawberry pancakes and they are the best.... More

We stopped here for lunch and were so pleased with the location and food. It is very quaint. It is possible to get a seat with a view of a stream. Wait staff efficient and friendly. Good portions of food - yummy.

We ate there for breakfast several mornings and loved each one. Fabulous food, quick and serviced by friendly locals who cannot seem to stop smiling! The pancakes are as big as your plate, and delicious. The bacon is crisp, the ham is superb, hash browns are totally awesome. Next week I am going to go back and stay at the... More

Great scenery along the river and excellent breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were so flavorful and a huge portion. The BLT'S were very good as well. The hash browns with cheese were so good we could not stop eating it. Pancakes are huge.

We arrived at about 9:30 am and were not greeted by anyone. I approached a man, I believe his name was Chet, and asked if we could give him my name for the wait list. He grunted something at me and walked away. I looked to make sure we were listed. We knew we would have to wait since they... More

Been spending summer vacations at campfire my whole life so I am a little partial but honest. The cafe is out of this world! The wait my be long (especially on weekends) but so worth it! Pancakes the size of a dinner plate! Breakfast is truly a treat and lunch is delicious. They're only open 7 am-2 pm so plan... More

I'm only reviewing the restaurant. The breakfast was excellent and the portions were huge. The pancakes were huge! I loved their crispy edges. I had the special which was country fried steak and hash browns. The gravy was tasty and the potatoes were crispy. Add this breakfast place to your Yellowstone stop!
