My family spent 3 nights here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some of the beds are "queen length" which are really just long double beds. So unless this is a cozy couple trip, ask for a room with a true queen. All rooms have very nice private restrooms, with walk in showers, except 6, 7, 8 and 11.... More

A very nice historic hotel in the middle of Virginia City If possible, book Room 17 on the second floor which has its own bath and is right next to the second floor balcony which is a nice place to spend part of the evening. Even though on the front of the hotel, it was still very quiet. You can... More

The Fairweather Inn was a great place to stay! The rooms were very nice and the bathrooms looked recently updated. Emma and Ronnie really made me feel at home. They were so kind and informative. Also, they make and sell these beautiful earrings as an added bonus. I can't wait to go back!

Many of the rooms are updated to include a bath and even the rooms with a shared bath are quite cozy. We have taken our family here just about every year and the kids absolutely love it. Emma and Ronnie are awesome. They are not only helpful but great to talk to and willing to share stories of the area.

We thoroughly loved our stay at the Fairweather Inn! Perfect location right on the Main Street...awesome balcony to see the whole town. Rumors of a haunted hotel but nothing sinister here just a quaint comfortable stay with super friendly staff! Right across the street from Bob's Pizza...best place to eat in town!!!

We had a wonderful stay, Emma was a wonderful hostess, as were the rest of the staff at Fairweather Inn. We stayed right in Heart of Downtown Virginia City easy access to all the sites. We were lucky to stay in Room 12, just up a couple steps from Room 10, nothing to report, but cool all the same. The... More

Stayed in a room with a shared bath next door. Hotel staff was great Ronnie and Emma @ the front desk were very friendly. Heard about the sweet Emma coffee available at the Nevada City hotel, and the great ice cream at the creamery just a few doors down. Amazing little town, ghosts and all!

Great, friendly staff. New renovation in bathroom is awesome. Stayed in famous "most spirited" room #10. Very clean. Walking distance to everything in Virginia City. The Brewery Follies are a must see for adult travelers. Have been to Virginia City many times and will be back .

Stayed in room 1 at the fairweather hotel. Found our stay wonderful. The rooms were clean. The beds were soft and comfortable. Did the ghost tour and were told great ghost stories about the fairweather. And it was not disappointing. Will be staying again!
